Auva Duhr is the more dancefloor minded project by the musician behind Neugeborene Nachtmusik. As with all of his output it is hard to define his sound simply as such or such style/genre. But Auva Duhr can possibly be described best as post-rave with a dark mood. Only recently Auva Duhr released his 8 track debut album (on Neurom Record). This second release “Twilight EP” is a bit tougher and darker as the first one.

Expect to hear bits and pieces of elektro, techno, idm and rave music. Split over different tracks but sometimes also being part of one and the same tune. These 6 tracks are without any doubt produced for the dance floor. But there is more to them. This is stuff for body and mind. Meaning in short that you can trip away on these tunes while on/without a dance floor.

Maybe this is not for everybody but we are not here to please, or entertain, everybody. And we are confident these tracks will find their way to dedicated dj’s, clubs and dance floors.

Dead Channel Records welcomes Kelan, macabre jockey of the gritty industrial underbelly of Bristol’s deviant, avant-garde scene. 

Performing as part of the raucous and theatrical, rhythmic noise act Bad Tracking, the occult driven Salac, and resident DJ and founder of the longstanding underground night Slack Alice, the seedy raconteur has defined his sound in biting taunts, soul-baring political venom, and sleazy noir, punctuated by scummy, gnarled electronics straight from the gutter. A follow up to his ‘Downtown’ release on Bristol Normcore in 2022, This no-holes-barred, raw EP full of debauchery and bane stands fast as a praxis against the rotting establishment.

On 26 February, hundreds of Israeli settlers went on a violent late-night rampage in Huwara and other villages in the northern West Bank, leaving one local resident dead and 100 others injured and the town ablaze.

This compilation of music was put together in order to raise funds that can hopefully give some aid to the residents of Huwara, all of the proceeds Confused Machines make from digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il An NGO that works in the occupied Palestinian territory, promoting Palestinians' right to health and providing direct medical and humanitarian assistance.

The compilation hosts a roster of both local and international artists spanning a wide spectrum of leftfield electronic music. Acid, Drone, Noise, Downtempo, Techno, SoundCollage and more.

All of these tracks are new and have not been heard before, many of them have been created with Huwara and Palestine in mind.

Though we know our reach is limited, we see this as a part of a bigger political effort to help raise awareness in our artistic circles and set motion to positive forces in dark times.

Born in Munich and currently based in Thessaloniki, Whiplash is a young upcoming artist. She’s quickly become a resident DJ at OSM Tapes Event Series and the A&R for upcoming premieres and podcasts. Ever since early childhood she’s been keen to dig into as many facets of music as possible, eventually becoming a guitarist and a vocalist in polyphonic projects. In 2020 she decided to move her passion for the electronic music spectrum forward and start DJing. Her sound is a multi blended construction, heavily influenced by the early EBM and 80’s Post- Punk movement. She also likes to incorporate techno, dirty electro elements and Dark-Wave touches in her DJ sets, in order to create a rich, multidimensional soundscape.
