Muk (Egle Naujokaityte, Lithuania) is a singer, DJ, radio hostess and avid propagator of unusual, experimental and non-conformist music. In the past she has been part of several musical projects in various parts of the world, and her work has been released on labels such as Bordello A Parigi (NL) and Industrial Coast (UK). Today she is part of the minimal synth duo Gris Futuro, but has also presented work in the field of contemporary and sound art in Lithuania (CAC Vilnius, Malonioji 6). As a dj and selector she stands out for her eclectic sets: she is not only known for her esoteric Fourth World-esque selections, but in more social environments and dancefloors she usually delivers a mix of shadows, psychedelics, synths and machine rhythms, where dark sounds play with light in a industrial-funk sensibility. Muk is also the author of radio shows for Cashmere Radio (The Hidden Reverse, La Casa del Obrero Mundial) in Berlin and LYL Radio (Canary Girl Island) in Lyon. Nowadays she appears on Radio Vilnius with her bimonthly show Musings & Drummings as well as on national Lithuanian radios alternative wing LRT Opus with the show Magiška muzika about the history of XX century alternative music and movements. At the same time he is developing her solo project Musetteandrums and running soundcloud channel Birds for the Mind.

Decomposition is a mix series by Dead Channel. Fig. 23 comes from RUMORE. Mastermind of the avant-garde label and podcast series Comme Des Larmes, RUMORE is a curator, selector, and producer of pioneering experimental music. He lands on Dead Channel with a slow and deep mix, cultivating spectral, hypnotic soundscapes and uncompromising chugging rhythms in this psychoactive slow burner. 

Recently recorded live in São Paulo, Brazil at a Comme Des Larmes event.

Kulku return to Phase Group with the release of their new album 'Reset To Be'

Formed in Berlin at the turn of the millennium, Kulku have evolved as a highly unique and free-formed collective of musicians that make trance-inducing, jazz-entwined, percussive and soulful (mostly) acoustic music that takes cues from the rhythmic propulsion of Jaki Leibezeit’s Can, the street-folk of Moondog, the minimalism of Steve Reich, and the droning rock n’ roll of the Velvet Underground, forming a sound that they themselves have coined ‘No-Age Krautrock’. 

Following on from last year’s sold out debut LP ‘Fahren', 'Reset To Be’ offers 5 new songs across 2 sides of vinyl. This is a record that perfectly showcases the unique identity the band have been developing over the past 20 years, a sound crafted through experimentation and innovation with primarily acoustic instruments; droning harmoniums, repetitive and phasing xylophones, timpani, cello, scrap metal and woodwind reeds, all sitting alongside soulful saxophone and the voice of frontman Andreas Riska, singing in both German and English. 

‘Reset To Be’ is a truly special offering that we’re proud to be able to share with you on Phase Group, and the album will be available at the beginning of 2024 on vinyl and digital, with distribution via Rubadub.

Brenko is a DJ and producer based in Treviso who focuses on blending elements of ambient, world, and electronic music. Dedicated to sound exploration, he aims to create a sonic journey infused with ethnic and tribal sounds through the use of sampling, manipulation, and sound processing.
Recently, he released a split EP on ESPERPENTO and a mini-album is scheduled for release on Where We Met.

for understanding, track has been made it in FastTracker. no any automations or special FX like echo, reverberation... everything i was doing manually using a lot of my experience technics how to put samples, stereo panorama, chorus and other effects realyzed just with polyphony composition of each sample, like in graphics, if you wanna make blur, just make for ex 5 instances (layers) of one object at same position, set them opacity=100 %/5(INSTANCES) after just move every next one for example left by one pixel × number of objects. blur effect depends on distance 0 pixels no blur, more-more blur... with sound we can do the same))) and not only with sound))))
