this is an offering of original compositions, live improvisations, field recordings, diasporic sound, interactive elements (rock & water) and sound archives (courtesy of aural archipelago and the archive of māori & pacific sound at the university of auckland).

great ocean volumes is an ongoing channel for nuanced cultural transmutations, carrying our lived and inherited lines through sāmoa (nadeem) and papua new guinea (ripley) and into new depths of oceanic futurism.
