"Eros & Thanatos"


3SBAT is a Ritual of the Full Moon.
It’s a monthly event where witches gather under the Full Moon, working with deities and practicing divination and ritual magic.

3SBAT (pronounced “Esbat”) is an Italian born, Glasgow based, Left Hand Path practitioner, non-binary DJ & Music Producer. Savvy user of dark drones, broken techno beats, industrial perc, heavy kick drums and distorted noises, she delivers a transcendent connection and re-connection of the body-mind experience, through Ritual Techno as sound healing practise.

Similarly to shamanic rituals, Ritual Techno generates a subterranean introspection where dark ambient drones, binaural beats, a scandinavian string instrument such as Tagelharpa, hunted vocals and raw punchy industrial soundscapes are all meticulously stitched together.

Eros & Thanatos , title of the EP, is a Freudian concept. Eros is the drive of life, love, creativity, sexuality, self-satisfaction, and species preservation. Thanatos, from the Greek word for "death" is the drive of aggression, sadism, destruction, violence, and death. Eros & Thanatos is also one of the many names of Lilith, Queen of Demons, Mother of Witches , Scarlett Whore. She is passion, death and ecstasy; she is the Alien woman. She is my Matron. This work is dedicated to her. Lilith! Marag! Ama! Lilith! Rimog! Samalo! Naamah!

Based in Russia, Mokre’tzy Konstruktor is one of the best kept secrets of minimal wave and experimental electronics. Fusing gritty synths, mangled drum machines, delays, alien vocals and an improvisational style, Forms is destined to be a new classic. 
Influenced by music’s psychological impact on perception of the surrounding world, and spelled out in their own words, Forms is “an attempt to cut through its dark component, to quickly reflect the emotional state of the moment. Inspired by reflections on the frailty of life... The attitude towards what turns out as a result is devoid of claims and musical ambitions; just an experiment to get to know yourself better.”
