Mokre’tzy Konstruktor returns to Dead Channel with The Mystery of Maybug. This genre-defying, absolutely stunning four track EP plunges head first into the murky depths of the netherworld.

Wonderfully bizarro melodies cling to crisped percussion, all shrouded in a smokey blanket of saturation. Haunting basslines, exotic resonance howls, sludgy synths drowning in the umbra, diabolical carnival organs, and stygian vocals, all breathe and shudder together in symphonic, lo-fi darkness. Evocative of The Residents and Throbbing Gristle but wholly unique. Apocalyptic lounge for the long nuclear winter.

The metaphor of the beetle is that, having dissembled it into simple understandable details, it remains infinitely difficult to understand. This episode  is full of (post)industrial, darkbeats, experimental electronica and angstpop. Our guest for episode #82 is Roberto Auser, a wild producer of many styles and flavors, from excotica to techno, industrial to electro, acid to cinematic music, who also delivers great liveshows with rough electro and acid. You can find his work on labels such as Gooiland Elektro, Pinkman, Viewlexx. First time I heard his work was during the xmas top 100 on Intergalactic.fm, the song "You see light, I see dark", amazing, i was stunned !  Find it on his album 'Secret Carnaval'. Bound By Endogamy is a duo based in Geneva, Switzerland, active since 2019. It consists of Shlomo Balexert and Kleio Thomaïdes (also vocalist for Savage Grounds since 2021). Both musicians come from the squat/ punk scene. In live performance, their project is reduced to a drum kit, a sampler, and female vocals. It has been described as a cross between DAF and Kleenex with a hardcore background. They released their first 7’’ on Lux Rec last year.

Bulgarian dark mastermind MANASYt(Petar Tassev) has been rocking his own brand of Nurolektro since 2003. He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Bunker, Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6 and Musar. An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre. Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic but most sound like what exactly hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth. Currently based in Xiamen, China.
