Earlier this year Med School stormed into the Top 10 of the iTunes dance album chart with "New Blood 010", the first full length various artist compilation to be released on the label. The album – revered by critics, DJs and fans in equal measure – showcased a dozen scalpel-sharp excursions by a plethora of cutting-edge artists. Four of these risings talents have returned to the fold to prescribe a second dose of aural medication as Med School presents "More Blood 010".

Synkro kick-started "New Blood 010" with the epic opener "Departure", setting the benchmark for the entire album. This time the Manchester-based producer unveils "In Transit", another slice of emotional minimalism encapsulated in a beautifully pensive soundscape. Eerie voices, delicate pads and reverberated keys are perpetuated by a texture of crackling kicks and clicks. Support for Synkro continues to build with the likes of dBridge, TRG, Mary Anne Hobbs, N-Type, Martyn, Ben UFO, Reso, Rusko, The Others and more all hammering his music.

The original by Mike Will Made is fantastic, but I thought perhaps could be mixed into something of a faster variety. After much gentling attempts I believe this honors the spirit whilst pushing the tempos and pulse. Purity Ring's "Shrines" is a sounding board of this passing Summer; perhaps more a Ouija board in fact. I've been listening with curious ears, and fell into a remix of Cartographist. I do hope you enjoy this terrible perversion of their lullingbyes into a more brooding and ominous clouding. Uping tempo.

Nosaj Thing recently dropped this incredible track upon us all. As real divergence from his previous album and yet continuation of the very mood that made his sound so special. I couldn't help but try some gentle remixing, in this case keeping tempo - but changing the feel, somewhat more sinister...

Arapaima's debut EP, "Sun Key" comes to an end with its second part. After its more bass-heavy precursor, this one showcases a softer, yet still quirky sound deeply enrooted in either oldschool house or r&b. 

"Sun Key" is the English interpretation of the Romanian term (sanky) for 'syke', a half passionate, half tongue-in-cheek attitude towards or regarding something. With a mixture of witty edits of older club classics and his soothingly intense trademark sound, Arapaima gives everyone a glimpse into his artistry and general demeanor. 

Having a side-job in the local scene's pop music production, Robert emphasizes his versatility and sense of genre-borderless appeal through his output on Origami Sound.
