Unbeyond Anthologies welcome inductee Nycto to the label for her new track “Swanky”, alongside a trio of remixers both new and familiar.

“Swanky” is a bona fide trench heater, harkening back to the old days of the sub-genre with its thick square-wave bassline, and enhanced by Nycto’s signature spooky melodies.

On remixing duty is label head Scavenger, yeeto, and inductee Jztin Thing, each bringing a different flavour to the original.  Scavenger takes the track in a more lo-fi and haunting direction, yeeto doubles up on the classic vibes with gnarled basses, and Jztin Thing delivers her usual brand of frantic energy and spritely melodies.

Nycto said about the release: “When I created Swanky, I wanted to harken back to the classic sound of trench, with a decidedly darker theme. My main inspiration was probably the famous ‘Spass - Hi Tek’, a classic song that has stood the test of time. I chose the three remixers, Scavenger, yeeto, and Jztin Thing, because I knew all three of them had their own unique styles that would take the song in a whole new direction. Scavenger's unique basswork and sound palette, yeeto's classic trench mastery, and Jztin Thing's sporadic heaviness.”

Infelizmente estou lotado do que sou. 

 Queria eu poder ser melhor. Nunca vou conseguir me livrar desse pesadelo e dessa angústia devastadora do fracasso. 

 Nunca vou conseguir ser o GNKZ. 

 Nunca vou conseguir que o João mantenha vivo o GNKZ.  Sempre vou me afundar no que nem eu sei. 

 O que eu estudo é importante? O que eu trabalho é importante? O que é importante? 

 Eu posso até ter tudo pra quem me tutela, mas nunca vou ter nada. Nada com o o valor de ser meu de fato. 

 O meu demônio sempre está ali. Bem ali, sempre. 

Eu acho que eu já perdi. Já perdi há muito tempo. É só difícil aceitar. 

 Obrigado a todos que gostam do GNKZ e João. Eu não sei o que fazer. Não sei nem se continuo vivo. 

 Espero que o fracasso tenha algum fim, ou que ele mesmo tenha fim, antes de me dar um fim.

 Eu finjo que estou bem, que estou feliz, mas não vejo nada, ninguém pode me ajudar, ninguém tira esse sufoco. Será que sou só um ingrato? Ou tenho algum problema. A música que me libertava, e agora nem sei mais. Há dias que não ligo o computador. Não sei quem é o João hoje, nem muito menos GNKZ. A vida está uma névoa inexplicável. Espero que Deus, se existir, me dê forças, esperanças, e foco pra permanecer. Por que a mente já está na morte. Já está há muito tempo. Sempre flertei com isso. Estou apenas perdido. E nunca vou ter nada, ao menos na minha mente agora.
 
 É engraçado como a mente muda. Estava feliz há um tempo, mas hoje em minha mente, tudo não passava de uma armação, da mesma. Eu nem sei se gosto dessa música, mas é o que sai da minha mente. Só queria poder dizer o que tem que ser dito em paz. 

 Será que eu mesmo estava me enganando? Será que eu estive feliz, eu pensei que estava. Eu vou conseguir o que almejo? O meu futuro é real? Ou eu realmente vou desistir? Eu não sei o que fazer. Sempre estou lotado de fracasso. Não sei quem eu sou, não sei o que eu quero ser. Só sei que eu estou perdendo essa batalha.
