But here’s the thing, everyone has to eat, and that primal need has been one of the major forces in world history since we gathered around the promethean fire. That’s what we’re exploring in this season’s podcast - how food has shaped who we have become. Super casual, right? One thousand years of history, explored plate first.

Oxford based sketch group stewing life's leftovers into piping hot bowls of tasty sketch. We're a casserole because the sketches, as well as the group, are a mix of all sorts thrown together to create something palatable and dare we say delicious, we just bloody well did. Topics range from office clichés to health to money to corpses for sale. Settle in, get comfy and chow down to some comforting comedy casserole.

The core story resembles the plot of a supernatural seventies television matinee or even a turn-of-the-century novel. Mixed race twin sisters grow up in a (literally) musical household where the antique piano plays itself in the dead of night. With a sound equally steeped in sun-soaked classic Southern California pop and nineties alternative mystique, twin duo Macedo—Michelle and Melissa—instantly enchant on a series of new singles. Everything stems from their natural sibling connection and otherworldly creative bond.

At the top of 2020, they kicked off their next chapter signing to Pasadena Records and working with producer Chris Chu releasing “Stronger Now” and “Can’t Imagine”, both of which got national radio attention.

2023 is set to be a breakout year for Macedo as they gear up to release new music. First up is the upbeat and an instant earworm single, “Block of Ice,” set for release on July 26th.  For “Block of Ice” Macedo worked with producer Jules Duke (formerly of the Mystic Braves). They instantly fell in love with his playful style and nostalgic production. They recorded this track in Kyle Mullarky’s studio in the mountains. Their goal for this new song was to put something fun and positive into the world.
