The next Girlcast presents ÜBERKIKZ 🌹

The young artist is a Russian-born and Frankfurt based DJ. She has been part of the label @studioennea since the early beginnings and founded the feminist art collective junakarat. In the scene ÜBERKIKZ publicly positions herself against sexism, discrimination and racism. She actively supports FLINTA artists in the techno scene and works closely with @houseofflinta.
It's impossible not to dance when ÜBERKIKZ is on the decks. Her style is inspired by the early 2000s. Although her sets are infused with unstoppable groove from start to finish, they are not lacking in edginess. The kicks are hard and driving. Trancy melodies are uniquely combined with folk and tribal elements. Each of her sets is an emotional story that everyone can understand if they let themselves drift.

Having established himself in his hometown of Vienna as a resident DJ for the renowned Meat Market event series and a valued member of Wiener Gerüstbau, this artist now finds himself immersed in the heart of the techno capital. Transitioning from a career in photography to music, he passionately pursues his vision of reinstating the groove in hard-hitting, high-tempo techno. With notable releases on esteemed labels such as Akronym, Mitsubasa, Introspective, and DREPT, he consistently showcases his ability to effortlessly blend contemporary funky cuts with his beloved tracks from the early 2000s. Maintaining a perfect balance between the modern and the old school, his performances exude a dynamic energy that keeps the crowd captivated, devoid of any reliance on cheap tricks!
