When it comes to Hardstyle, it’s impossible to argue the fact that any artist has had a bigger impact on the genre than Headhunterz. From the moment his first records were released, his unique melodic and energetic take on the genre sparked a new movement within the international music scene. A rise unparalleled, Headhunterz continues to take Hardstyle to new heights. 

Willem Rebergen, better known as Headhunterz, kicked off his DJ career over a decade ago. A visit to Qlimax 2003 lit a spark in Willem, leading to an uncontrollable wildfire, as he dedicated himself to becoming the best producer in the genre. His originals, as well as the album he made with Wildstylez under the Project One moniker, redefined the hardstyle sound of the late 2000’s. Headhunterz’ new take on hardstyle music made the genre grow into an international phenomenon and become something worldly. 

From 2014-2017, Headhunterz took on a new challenge and found himself headlining major festivals like Ultra Music Festival, Coachella and EDC, making him explore the boundaries of his own, musical imagination and discover new parts of the world as well as different territories within the electronic dance scene. Though it did trigger his creativity, Willem became homesick, missing his beloved hardstyle scene. In 2017, in front of 60,000 ecstatic fans who thought they had lost their hero, he announced his comeback to hardstyle at Defqon.1. With open arms, the community embraced him, as he travelled the world to celebrate his return with fans, old and new. It took him to 125 performances across 34 countries in 2018 alone, a journey which inspired him to create ‘The Return of Headhunterz’, an album that tied past, present and future together. Surpassing 15 million streams on Spotify, the album – along with his No. 28 position in the 2018 DJ Mag Top 100, showed that, no matter the adventures Headhunterz would undertake, he’ll always find a warm welcome in his home base.

The album also marked the launch of a new label – ART OF CREATION, with his colleague Wildstylez. A creative and dynamic platform that bridges the gap between music makers and community. At the same time, Headhunterz relaunched the HARD with STYLE Podcast, recorded live from a brand new studio, with state-of-the-art equipment and sound. This is where new Headhunterz music comes to life, plans to conquer new territory for his tribe are forged and the one thing reigns that will always remain Headhunterz’ greatest achievement; the music from within.

At the age of 10 years, Ivan discovered his love and passion for Hardcore music. This music strongly transformed his life and his habits to the dedication of Hardcore music. He attended parties all over Europe and was just fascinated by the whole scene and its community. He then decided to be a DJ so he can spread the raw and brutal power of Hardcore around. He played in numerous pubs and private parties, until only after a few months, DJ Exagon gave him the chance to join the Hurricane Hardcore Group, where he played at many parties in his area. But that was not enough for him. In 2011 he took part in the Masters Of Hardcore DJ contest and won it, his big dream came true. After this contest, he started to play at parties in Austria and Germany, becoming a big success. Recently, he had the honor to play on the mainfloor of the Snow Beat Winter Festival and in Italy’s most famous Hardcore Club called Florida. This new year 2012 will be a year with great new tunes spun and many surprises to come such as some collabs with DJ Thunder (Darkside Unleashed Records) and many others, so stay

The Meccano Twins project started out in 2003 from the idea of 2 of the Art of Fighters members, driven by the need of a new breed of music, bleeding the hardcore mainstream together with darkcore and electronic (taking examples from artists like Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Daft Punk) without losing the vibe and power of the hardcore music. Now they are in charge of the artistic management of T.R.S.E., the Traxtorm's sublabel devoted to the experimentation.

With tracks like Tendrils of agony, Illusion and Breath they are now one of the most respected hardcore producers around, able to surprise and innovate with every new release.

In 2010 the project, after been carried out by Cristian Nardelli as a solo artist in the past 3 years, change shape again with the join of Josè Sendra, new producer and future frontman of the group. His arrival has immediately given a new effort to exploration of new sounds, even more experimental and alternative.

Ultra Records has been known to push electronic music’s boundaries. For over a quarter of a century, the iconic record label has been instrumental in elevating up and coming artists to the global mainstream as well as bringing fresh genres and sounds to the forefront of the dancefloor. Founded in 1995 and since the label’s first release with house music icon Roger Sanchez, Ultra has been home to some of the most legendary names in electronic music including, MK, Benny Benassi, Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Black Coffee, deadmau5, Carnage, Deorro, Kygo, Tiesto, Kaskade, Louis the Child, SOFI TUKKER, Anabel Englund and many more.  

In addition to creating and releasing numerous platinum hit singles, award winning remixes and chart topping albums, Ultra Records has built an incredible portfolio of digital media properties including its YouTube channel (28+ million subscribers), Facebook page (2.4+ million Likes), Instagram channel (550k+ followers) and Twitter (600k+ subscribers). 

At the end of 2021, Ultra Records was acquired by Sony Music and David Waxman, who previously held the title of head of A&R and General Manager, was appointed as President. Recent events led him to reevaluate and refocus his efforts and he is set to unleash Fury on the Hardcore scene once again. There’s no stopping this powerhouse.

His Fury has not ended, it has only just begun.
