The Flenser is a dark music label from San Francisco. We have released records by bands such as Have a Nice Life,  Botanist, Bosse-de-Nage, and Planning For Burial.



Since emerging nearly ten years ago, Too Pure has uncovered some of the hottest new, underground talent that has been on offer. Artists such as Bear Hands, The Crookes, Jeff The Brotherhood, Esben & The Witch and the mighty Pulled Apart By Horses have all gone on to great things after we’ve had the good fortune to introduce them to the world. 

Now, in our 10th year Too Pure is still working with the same passion for uncovering the unheard, unsung, future heroes of music. 2011 has seen fantastic releases from artists such as Mush & Drahla and we’re continuing to push things forward with upcoming releases from the likes of Seize The Chair, Pet Crow plus many more. 

For just  fifty English Pounds (Sixty Five pounds if you’re outside the UK) subscribers receive a monthly, limited, hand numbered 7” single on coloured heavy weight vinyl. Direct through the door from us, via the good people at Royal Mail. Plus the download files for the digitally minded club members. 

As well as this we’re running monthly club nights/single launches at The Old Blue last in East London. All these events are free and feature that months band, playing live, along side other upcoming acts and some great DJ’s spinning a plethora of indie, electronica and pop.

Mixing an eclectic combination of crushing guitars and infectious electronica, The One Hundred have a unique home-grown approach to song writing which incorporates elements of metal, hip hop, rock and dance. Throw in Jacobs distinctively English rap-come-singing and you’ve got a band who will have you singing along, punching the air and screaming for more. They are the real deal. They are the new generation.
