OMEN Recordings is delighted to welcome back Berlin-based Colombian artist BRAYAN VALENZUELA for his second EP release with the label. This latest offering features an intense collection of originals, complemented by cutting-edge remixes from Edinburgh's DUELLIST and Los Angeles-based EAS. Each track showcases the unique flair of the remixers, further enriching Valenzuela's visionary sound.

New Hole - "New Hole" is an offbeat hypnotic track that lures listeners into a mesmerizing trance. Crafted with intricate rhythms and an undercurrent of ethereal synths and samples, this piece sets a complex, rhythmic foundation that invites deep introspection amidst its pulsating beats.

You Are Gold - A standout track, "You Are Gold" drives the EP forward with its peak-time, driving beats and twitchy textures. This track is an anthem for the night, pushing the limits of electronic music with its rapid-fire rhythms and immersive, high-energy soundscapes.

Put Pizza in Your Mouth - This hard-stomping track combines relentless energy with haunting stabs, creating a brooding atmosphere that's both invigorating and intense. His remix is a masterclass in minimalism, using sparse compositions to highlight the powerful simplicity of techno, delivering a relentless auditory experience that commands attention.

You Are Gold (DUELLIST Remix) - DUELLIST transforms "You Are Gold" with his signature hard-charging, industrial tones, elevating the track's inherent energy to new heights. This remix retains the original's dynamic spirit while infusing it with a raw, metallic edge that is quintessentially Duellist.

BRAYAN's roots in Colombia and Spain, combined with his immersion in Berlin's techno culture, provide a rich background that informs his distinctive sound—a blend of Latin American influences with European precision and minimalism. Meanwhile, Duellist, known for his rugged, industrial soundscapes, and EAS, who brings a polished, minimalistic approach, add layers of depth and contrast, making this EP a pivotal release for OMEN Recordings. The Debut album from akaJazy and Floor 0's collaborative project "Eccodust" encompasses the conflict between technology and nature, depicting the eventual collapse of the former and regrowth of the latter. Comprised of contrasting hazy atmospheres and mechanical textures, the duo’s combined effort create a uniquely gorgeous yet uneasy listen. Whether you’re listening to the subtle beauty of “Crystal Cavern”, the building wall of feedback of “Cognition”, or the cacophony of the final track “Urban Decay”, the project is full of stand-out moments.

Inspired and produced during 2022, The duo was fascinated by the conflicting elements in their environments. From abandoned buildings tangled by foliage to deteriorating railways swallowed by the earth, the duo sought to replicate and empathise with the haunting feelings emerging from such locations. The recording process of the album saw the duo capturing field recordings at the specific locations that inspired it, including a trip to the Forest of Dean, symbolic for its history of being exploited for it’s resources.

'Body' by Déandrah is Marguerite Records' 18th release.

Body took shape during a strange year, a time when the fabric of existence seemed to fray and shift—welcoming the cries of new beginnings even as others marked inevitable ends. The wails of arrival and departure harmonised in a single breath, tracing the fragile rhythm and fleeting significance of being. The album became my compass through this liminal space, an exploration of the body's frailty and the mind's enduring strength—a map of transitions charted through sound.

The track titles—Bladder, Larynx, Spleen, Trachea, Vertebra, Index Finger, Shank, Sphincter—assemble a fragmented anatomy, each piece a quiet witness to the mechanics of existence. These parts, uncelebrated and often unnoticed, bear the weight of our survival, tethering us to life’s ceaseless flow. Together, they chart the tension between fragility and resilience, control and surrender, function and decay—a somatic blueprint that mirrors the tenuous balance of our inner and outer worlds.

Each sound, from spring reverbs struck like percussion to broken mixers and unravelling tape loops, became part of this mosaic, chaotic yet intentional. The mournful cries of a dog longing for its absent companion added haunting textures, their rawness woven into the vocals and ambient layers. Roaring hums and banshee-like screams from analogue synths and filterbanks carried an emotional weight that felt both visceral and cathartic.

This is Body: a collection of disjointed yet connected moments. A reflection of how we are shaped not only by what we endure but also by what we release—and what we cling to. Finite and mortal, we carry burdens and histories that time erodes, even as the mind, unbound, reaches for something eternal. Ideas born in fading moments outlive their source, colliding with the noise of the present to become something both rooted and ever-changing.
