Deadtide is a spiritually awakened modern melodic death metal & metalcore band located in New York and New Jersey, but many people have so kindly mistaken the band as hailing from Sweden.

Before the band Mike (“Mike Metal,” vocalist) and Phil (“Chrome,” guitarist) met in 2006 while studying advertising in college in New York. At its dawn, jam sessions and YouTube videos set a course for Deadtide's destiny. Two of the very first people ever to upload metal and guitar videos, Phil and Mike blazed a trail for what became the metal galaxy in the ever-expanding YouTube universe as we know it today. Now, the band has a solid lineup of Mike, Phil, Max, Andrew, and Daniel, who have been rocking in bands for 40+ collective years; sharing the stage with international acts such as Soilwork, Fear Factory, Unearth, and many more.


The tasteful use of pounding rhythms, thunderous double-bass, soaring harmonies, atmospheric and horror-style synthesizers, and vast-ranged vocals from harsh to beautiful to powerful, embody the diversity of Deadtide. 
    
    The band focuses on composing catchy hooks that refuse to depart the minds of listeners, while remaining versatile, heavy, dark, haunting, and emotional, all while still managing to deliver positive, uplifting messages. 
    
    In a world full of ears fatigued by music that sounds “uninspired,” a cure is always present, though most may never realize it. Unsatisfied with the generic, Deadtide strives until they've achieved what they find so many other bands to be lacking today; true substance and vision. With Phil and Mike being difficult to satisfy aurally nowadays, they would much prefer to write something striking to them, themselves, at the level of their own high standards, because they know that listeners will enjoy it that much more. With hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, they have their fingers on the pulse of metal listeners. They know what metalheads want to hear and how to slice through a sea of noise. They recognize that it's all about injecting little nuances to make a passage shine. It's their time to give back to the music world for all that it's done for them in their own lives.
    
    Deadtide hungers for something more; roots that reach deep into the heart of the best of melodic death metal, breaking through the soil with the additions of other subgenres' sounds, with a goal to blossom into something new for metal, and for music in general. Ripe with ideas ranging from the simple-creative, to the grandiose and spectacular, Deadtide yearns to do great things, simultaneously infecting audiences with feelings they'll never forget. 
    
    Mike's lyrics seamlessly blend themes that range from life and death, to space and the universe, to the energies and forces seen and unseen therein. He employs all the literary devices possible, alongside truth and myth, fact and fantasy, to paint vivid pictures within listeners' minds, as well as to convey powerful and profound concepts. Balancing relatable and novel concepts keeps things ever-interesting. Inspiring listeners and encouraging them to broaden their own knowledge on much of what school will not teach, the concepts serve to shatter realities and shift paradigms in the very ways his own have over the years. Above all, the lyrics induce thought outside the listeners’ realm of comfort, and propel the imagination into uncharted reaches, effortlessly.

Intervals are a progressive, instrumental powerhouse, hailing from Toronto, Ontario , Canada. With roots firmly planted in metal, and inspiration ranging from fusion to electronic, the four-piece wields a gripping sonic aesthetic. Energetic riffs, coupled with memorable melody take the listener through a myriad of moods and soundscapes.

With primary guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Aaron Marshall, and internet drumming sensation Anup Sastry (live drums for Jeff Loomis) at the helm, the two deliver an exciting perspective on modern melodic metal. Their focus being on challenging themselves technically, while maintaining memorable hooks to draw in any music fanatic.

The band released their debut EP, "The Space Between" in December, 2011, which saw critical acclaim in the online metal community. Fall 2012 will see the band release a follow-up EP entitled, "In Time", brimming with Intervals' brand of catchy melodic prog. Teaming with timeless, forward thinking music, Intervals are the soundtrack to the future.

From The Shadows is a Melodic Death Metal band, formed in New York City, in 2005.  It's members consist of Jasin (Guitar & Vocals), Mikkaal (Guitar and Vocals), Scotty (Bass), and James (Drums).  In contrast to most bands of the genre at the time of their formation, From The Shadows focused their lyrical content and imagery heavily on Japanese Anime.  Paying homage to such works as, Dragonball Z, and Elfen Lied, the band offered a unique spin on modern-day mythology, drawing it's similarities, and familiarities to life experiences, struggles and sorrows.

From The Shadows disbanded in early 2007, later re-emerging in 2009.  They released the YouTube exclusive single, "Lilium", which was a Metal cover of the opening theme song to the anime, "Elfen Lied".  The success of this single was matched only by the surprise of it's composers; gaining almost one million views, world wide.  Having been inspired by all the positive feedback, the band decided to record a new EP, due to be released August 24th, 2013.

Before I start, "Angel Eyes" on youtube is much higher quality audio than the upload on soundcloud. This is due to compression added by soundcloud so the quality was reduced. If you have good speakers/sound system then you will hear the details and difference.

Cheers!  Tim here, the main guitarist/composer/songwriter of the band Dawn Of Dreams. My music is the result of all my influences and the love of music. It comes from the heart and soul. Each song has a meaning behind it, it was written with emotion and spirit. It's mainly Metal but best described as Atmospheric Melodic Metal with some progressive elements, death and clean male vocals as well as clean female vocals and additional orchestral strings sounds. Right now, the 1st pro recorded song from the upcoming debut album "Angel Eyes" in it's complete final version produced,engineered by Chas Denono (www.hmrmusic.com) and mixed and mastered by Dan Swano@Unisound Studios,Sweden (www.unisound.se).
