I had the absolute pleasure of playing a peak-time breaks set with my homie, @dave-juric‎, at the Krafty Kuts Anzac Day BBQ. A bit of a last minute booking, I jumped at the opportunity when Davey asked me to join him for his set. I've played a handful of VS sets with the man and every time we've teamed up magic has happened. His energy behind the decks is contagious and I always have such a great time when I'm up on stage with him. Needless to say, this set was no exception. Playing 2-3am, an hour after Krafty Kuts, it's upbeat break beat central littered with commercial tinged bootlegs and bass-heavy bangers.

The original recording from the night didn't come out properly so Davey and I decided to re-record the entire thing, as played exactly on the evening.

Inspired by an awesome Birthday gathering on the weekend, May’s Techno mix has arrived bang. 37 tracks spanning 2.5hrs of Hypnotic Rhythms & Futuristic, Robot Bass. Mixed over 3 decks the journey kicks off at 126bpm. Littered with eerie melodics and quirky grooves, riding a tough pulsing vibe that slowly builds to a more edgy warehouse feel.

Artists from across the globe provide a nice mix of older and new stuff. Combining some of the forefathers of Techno with the modern day leaders of the new wave of sounds. 
Mark Broom features heavily on this one. He was one of my favourite artists back in the day and somehow seemed to drop off my playlists the last few years. I checked out what he’s been up to and unsurprisingly found some absolute bangers.

Certainly not one of my cleanest mixes. But still came out ok. What can i say, it was a big weekend.

"Organic Frequencies" May 2014 Warehouse Techno Promo By Harry Blotter

Hey guys. Here's my 7 - 9 closing set @ Tekno Mulisha's epic 7th Bday Warehouse party.
The night saw 3 awesome warehouse rooms absolutely jumping from start to end. 

All the tracks mixed straight off the Wax, I decided i would ease off the gas a little and try wind back the clock to some of the most timeless Acid & Techno Bombs from the last 20ish years. We navigate through some hugely recognizable tracks and artists here while slowly moving the pace back and forth to reign in the Daylight : )
Over the last 15 years I've seen most of these tracks smashing Melbourne's dancefloor's time and time again by a lot of the local heroes who shaped my sound today. 
The amount of old, new & upcoming talent in Melbourne has always been overflowing and i think for a long time has kept us close to the forefront of Electronic music.
My goal was to leave you with a mental picture from Melbourne's perspective of a timeless era of classic electronic music. 

Towards the end of the set there's really short silence due power dropping out. I had mega fun smashing this one out.  Hope you enjoy Guys.
