With 'Fire in Me' we welcome Innėr Sense to ICONYC in collaboration with vocalist Dana Barbara. The duo delivers a slice of warm, pulsating club vibes. The original track kicks things off with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry bassline and Dana's vocals sit wonderfully on top, adding an extra layer of depth and class. The duo mean business and it is evident with every step of the way. Essential stuff!

On remix duty we welcome Stone Van Brooken for his debut on ICONYC with a thumping remix for the ages. The French producer who is known for his driving melodic techno influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool melodic vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around Stone's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of elements on offer.

The second remix comes courtesy of Octavio Gimenez. His unique act and emotional creations carry quite a large scope. He is not afraid to explore esoteric or introspective themes and the end result is always a compelling one. Such is the case with his remix of 'Fire in Me', which carries many of his loved production hallmarks. From a warm, meaty low end to icy atmospherics and an effects storyboard to get lost in, there is certainly a lot to like. The main break is perhaps the high point, with the mood shifting from emotive to ominous with effortless ease.

This year, we are thrilled to continue our Collage EP Series, featuring an exciting collection of tracks by various talented artists on each release. In this particular edition, we present an extraordinary lineup including Betoko feat. SevenEver, Rob Hes and Joey White, If I, and Evan De Novellis. "Life" by Betoko, featuring the mesmerizing vocals of SevenEver, unfolds as a progressive masterpiece, showcasing Betoko's distinctive uplifting signature sound. "Tacama" by Rob Hes and Joey White takes on a melancholic and emotional tone, characterized by expansive pads and leads that seem to stretch into eternity. On a different note, "Horizon" by If I follows a straight-forward and trancy direction, driven by a rolling bassline and adorned with beautiful chord progressions. Black Rose sixty-two release comes from the Argentinian artist Tomy Wahl. He returns after the “Nuremberg” EP and a contribution to the latest Various Artists compilation (Incanto Vol. 4) with two new tracks. In “Goa” the pulsating rhythm of the bassline forms the backbone of the entire track, providing a sense of continuous movement. Accompanying this, an arpeggio develops and enhances the track’s rhythm, introducing elements of melodic complexity that enrich the listening experience and amplify its energy. The track “Distroboy” is characterized by a continuous contrast between powerful and aggressive basses and synths, opposed by ethereal pads and atmospheres, creating a dynamic balance. The break and the following drop are the moments when all the main elements reach the peak of their intensity.
