30 year old DJ/Producer; Ali From Bali (Ali Agus), is a Californian native but raised in Jakarta, Indonesia from an early age. Growing up Ali was exposed to a diverse musical background through his mother’s endless motown & funk vinyl collection and his father’s choice selection of 70’s punk, 80’s new wave & reggae LP’s. This electic upbringing shines in his musical taste and performance style. 

Ali unofficially produced his first track at the age of 13 with nothing more than a department store casio keyboard, a VHS player and an outdated 4 track wave recorder program on an old desktop PC with an aux input.

Ali’s passion lies in musical production, as he grew up playing guitar, bass and keyboards in various bands throughout his early years and was first introduced to the art of mixing through his brother DJ Lio (Halim Ardie) of 5k’s Till Kuta fame. 

Ali currently lives in Bali, Indonesia and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. While also working in the events production & promotions industry.

He has been a resident DJ for Oldman’s Batu Bolong & TownHouse Bali among others and is currently a resident DJ for Plata Performance Nightclub in San Miguel de Allende.
