Dimes or as he like to call himself 4Nickels is a Rap/Hip Hop artist born and raised in Detroit Michigan. Dimes started raping at the age of 15 as a member of the group N***a Rigged, based off of there make-shift studio equipment. Where Dimes really gained his knack for music was during his middle and early high school years joining the marching band for Henry Ford Middle School in Highland Park. Falling in love immediately Dimes would become a stand out as first chair trombonist. He would soon branch out to learn and master other brass and percussion instruments. Influenced by major recording artist like TI, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy Eminem and Andre 3000 to name a few, Dimes has created a sound that blends the southern hospitality sound from the mid west. His style is very versatile combining that with his pretty extensive lexicon, Dimes is considered a strong lyricist no matter the tempo or content of the tracks he appears on.
