When I first heard Dear Boy live, I was hooked right away. The sound, the words, the mood just give me a constant feeling of adventure and coming home. There is nothing like hearing them live.

By far, this is my favorite Dear Boy song. This song captures what their vibe is, melodic with a touch of darkness, playful yet emotional. The chorus just makes me want to move and dance, and you just can't help but sing along...and come along.

One of Green’s harder rocking songs, this was played at the majority of shows on 1989’s Green tour and usually featured in the fourth or fifth slot in the set. It continued to receive semi-regular plays during 1995, receiving 45 plays that year (35% of all shows), again usually in a similar slot in the set.

It returned for a further 12 plays in 2005, and just 4 more times in 2008, with Helsinki, Finland the scene for its final performance.

Fun fact: This song was featured on the 2008 video game ‘Grand Theft Auto IV’ and can be heard by tuning the car radio to ‘Liberty Rock Radio 97.8’. With the way people drive in those games, it was probably a good thing ‘Walk Unafraid’ was not chosen!
