Tamir & I have been friends for a long time, sharing the same passion for music while discovering the quirkiest spots NYC has to offer. Over dinner at our usual hangout the mythological “Hillstone” (which since sadly closed), we decided to put our creativity to the test with some studio sessions. “Breath It Out” is the result. “Breath It Out” is a song about a friendship challenged by distance, as a couple is set to live in two different continents for a few months. They try to keep their relationship alive while confronted with issues of intimacy, distance, and trust.

SANDHAUS and I met randomly in Miami many years ago. We immediately felt a connection, coming from a very similar background in life and music. “Breath It Out” was created while I was building an additional studio in Tel Aviv. In the process of us having many conversations about the music business, I decided to open Silver Joe.

After Tamir asked me to make a dance floor oriented remix I went for it. Was very easy for me with the beautiful smooth & silky vocals by SANDHAUS, loved it straight away. Probably the most progressive remix I’ve ever made to date.

Tash's Movement Recordings rounds out the month of May by welcoming Nas Horizon back to the label for a new EP. Based in Athens, the Greek artist has been a fixture of the progressive house underground for over a decade. Whether operating in solo capacity or with sometime studio partner George Harbas, Nas Horizon has taken his sound to longstanding imprints such as Mistique Music and Spring Tube. Also a regular contributor to Movement Recordings, Nas has appeared on the label four times since making his debut in 2009, most recently in April of this year via the popular 'Technical Progress' series. Now, as we approach the summer season, Nas makes a welcome return to the label with a new artist EP entitled 'De Sonne'.

Spread across four tracks it's the progressive techno sounds of the title selection which get the EP underway. Dark and mysterious from the outset, its punchy low end and rippling rhythms provide momentous drive, while astral stabs and devilish effects fill in the framework. Hopeful overlays bring an emotive vibe leading into the main break, melting down to a gorgeous melodic centerpiece, before a rush of drums and effects cues a thunderous drop. Meanwhile, 'Unreal' continues on a darker monochrome with tough beats anchoring a strong effects narrative and layers of metallic percussion. Glowing chord stabs and warm atmospheres emerge, perfectly setting the stage for a second act that is equal parts spiritual and emotional.

The third selection 'Power' surveys a similar design profile but with a further lean into atmospheric territory. Beginning with a stripped yet punchy groove, the piece evolves with emerging melodic hooks and detailed percussion carrying into the main break. Wispy effects and poignant fragments make for a heartfelt interlude which is sure to captivate a dancefloor, before smoothly segueing into an arp-driven finale. Rounding out the release is 'Communication' which carries a mystical peak time vibe through chugging grooves, soaring synths and an array of precise effects which allow for a great sense of depth and space. The main break serves to further the melodic leads, as they rise alongside a healthy dose of cinematic ambience onwards to a thrilling finale.

Swiss-based artist Several Definitions drops the highly anticipated EP "Disturbia" featuring bonus track "Twin Ion" and remixes by Lonya, Audio Junkies, and Different Age.

Several Definitions, known for his signature blend of Melodic Techno and Indie Dance, has just released his latest EP, "Disturbia". The EP features two original tracks, "Disturbia" and "Twin Ion", as well as remixes from some of the hottest names in the industry.

The title track, "Disturbia", is a high-energy dancefloor filler with pulsing basslines and infectious rhythms. Its combination of gritty synth stabs and emotive melodies creates a sound that is both raw and refined. The bonus track, "Twin Ion", is a deeper, more introspective cut, with lush pads and intricate percussion that showcase Several Definitions' versatility as a producer.

Future Avenue's most recent release warmly welcomes Alan Levin from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to the label with his debut production "History." The remix lineup includes the talents of James Halon, Axel Terblanche, and Agustin Duarte. Apart from being a producer, Alan is also a DJ. At 23, he entered the clubbing scene. His instant love, passion, and interest for the craft were evident. Over the years, Alan began to make appearances at private and exclusive events. Thanks to his ability to seamlessly adapt to various tracks and musical genres, he has been invited to perform at renowned clubs like Fridha Club, KikaClub, Club La Octava, NicetoClub, and CobarStudio, among others.
