Alexander Kowalski is a highly respected veteran producer of the Berlin underground scene, and his DisX3 alias first came about with live performances at the dignified club Tresor, and through meeting Pacou would later see his music released on their record label too. Adding more quality imprints to his back catalogue like Maral Salmassi’s Konsequent, James Bong’s Raw Raw, Invite’s Choice, Shlomi Aber’s Lost Episodes, and Insolate’s Out Of Place, this moniker was resurrected in recent years after over a decade of silence. Focusing on high octane, driving techno with twisted, acidic hooks drenched in analogue grit, this mix is pulsing and powerful from start to finish, with one mission in mind, to tear down the dance floor. Cisco was originally meant to play for us in August 2021 but Covid put a stop to that; thankfully we were able to fulfil our goal of having him to play for us and it couldn't have gone any better in our honest opinion.

Colombian born Adriana Lopez has established herself as one of the most influential techno artists of all time. 

Over the years, the DJ, producer and label head, has been perfecting her instantly recognisable style of brooding, hypnotic and driving techno through releases on labels known to nurture this sound, such as Spanish labels PoleGroup and Semantica and of course on her own label, Grey Report where Adriana has been developing and releasing music from artists such as Developer, NX1, Takaaki Itoh & more.  

As a DJ, Adriana has been developing her craft for well over two decades now, beginning in her hometown of Bogota in the late 90’s before moving to Barcelona in 2003 which opened up a global touring schedule with performances at the best clubs in the world. Her sound is dark yet groovy, its rhythm and energy offers pure escapism. It’s hard to find a more dedicated, consistent and skillful approach to DJ’ing…  

Adriana steps up for the second edition of our newly launched fabric podcast. For 2 hours, we’re treated to a ferocious offering of unreleased music, current favourites and some of Lopez’s own productions.
