A.30 is a Colombian artist who in a short space of time since his 2022 release has made a large impression with contributions to Hans Bouffmyhre's Sleaze, Lindsey Herbert's EvilGroove and now debut's his album Paramo on Exos' Planet X.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Universal Goat" with a bubbling, hypnotic style and modular accents that create a spacey vibe filled with grooving percussion and a tripped-out sci-fi aesthetic.

Not everyone can reverse entropy. And yet, when Cosmic Anomaly takes on the challenge, he can still reveal a wilderness in the beauty of order.

The motivation behind Garden Of Uncertainty was to coach noise, and thus, as he tells us, 4 of the 5 tracks enclosed don't use any synthesizer as a "melodic" source, but rather sounds that have been transmuted until they became what we are hearing now. An ambition to tap into chaos and return it reorganised, and fleshed out into a myriad of sonic possibilities.

We have no option but to believe him, within these 5 tracks we encounter rich, brooding worlds and are reminded of his vast inner being. His feelings of uncertainty plastered into breathing noise, every one of life’s challenges converted by catharsis.

“All this takes shape at a time in my life when I was experiencing some turmoil [...] The remnant of the exercise of accepting uncertainty is the joy one learns to experience in the present moment”, we are told, as we listen to a collection of pieces that whilst remains Techno in form, explores the whole scope of possibilities within not only the genre, but also the rich tapestry of the world of sound.
