Gabriele Salerno aka Hekum has a new EP “Developing of Origins” out soon on Faut Section.  Composed of four tracks, the EP is specially designed for the dance floor. Focusing on rhythmic and intersected grooves along with metallic overtones that gives a sense of roughness throughout the EP. 

“Mentally Unstable” is a track filled with syncopated and fervent rhythms that forges a dirty and futuristic atmosphere.

Arthur Robert is the terrestrial antenna to receive the 8th transmission from our homeworld of Planet X. The message brings fragmented bits of sound and sight as our former world passes the event horizon of its neighbouring SMBH and ascends slowly into singularity.  

His interpretation give us the feeling of hurling thru unknown space at the speed of light while being absolutely still in our cocoon of sound. The deep pounding rhythm driving us forward while the cloustrophobic yet mesmerizing melodies guide us thru the wastness of open space, giving us glimpses of a world past his point of no return.  

As we welcome Robert to our roster of acoustonauts and thank you for your continued support over the years, we look forward to share with you even more and exciting explorations from the space of Planet X.

This was a release under my older Jake moniker, the flipside of my first release on my own label Blueface and was catalogue no BFACE001. It starts with a vocal sample "reposess" which is a fragment of a story of cyberpunk nature around futuristic body snatchers which is joined by a chunky kick and hat combo and dark sampled bassline. Then more layers of lighter and zingy chords are added to develop the journey meaning the track combines darkness and lightness. The breakdown uses the vocal with a long feedback delay to create a space for a dance crowd to whoop before the kick hat combo comes slashing back in.
