Long-time friends and kindred spirits, Audrey Danza and Andrea Dama finally lock into each other’s wavelength with Signals in Movement, their first collaborative release on Proxima. The EP moves fluidly across moods and energies: the opener is a restless acid track, unfurling in evolving 303 spirals that feel like they’re crawling out of the floorboards of the afters. The second track, Ghosts in Sync (Tech Mix), sharpens the edges into a deep techno workout with funky elements. Closing with Dolce Circuito (Sunday Mix), the pair channel blissed-out euphoria—a shimmering nod to the hedonistic warmth of Cocktail d’Amore’s marathon Sundays. The result is less a split of their individual voices and more a new hybrid language—playful, intuitive, and designed to move bodies across the spectrum of night into day.

Berlin imprint Escapism are pushing from strength to strength having recently featured music and remixes from Stanislav Tolkachev, Inland and Alexey Volkov.

The next release features Belgian artist Border One and also includes two remixes from the top quality duo Cassegrain as well as exciting talent Phara who has featured in our podcast series (DTMIX144) and been impressing with his productions.

Border One appears after great releases on labels such as Pär Grindvik’s Stockholm LTD, Tripeo’s Wolfskuil, Invite’s Choice and Ressort Imprint as he continues to make a mark and pick up new supporters with his stylish sounds.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Toolbell” that uses wonky bells as the hook, creating morphing tones and an eerie atmosphere. A slight jackin’ influence gives this quirky creation an abundance of energy as it pulses with relentless vigour.

Dimi Angelis’ eighth release on his ANGLS label is essentially a tale of four brothers. Four separate tracks, clearly related yet with distinctive qualities that sets each of them apart in its own unique way. 

Out Of Nowhere does its name justice by hitting home from its opening bars, throwing a messy sawtooth layered with evolving percussion at the listener. Following suit, Funky Lizard is an amalgamy of trippy, filtered arps blended with a classic rhythm section. Damage guaranteed.

Third up but musically no where near third place we find the aptly named Titan, a unabating industrial track that has quite the character as a tool but performs just well as on its own. Fast and gritty. As if forged from the same fire as Funky Lizard closer Automatic once more takes a turn for the introvert in an almost Millsian fashion by employing driving tonal paths and hissing drums forming a grand conclusion.
