Beat Runner, a new label founded in 2025, originated from a lifelong interest, seeks to discover and advance deep, creative techno tracks for both fans and DJs that are committed to the genre. Techno-head, producer, and DJ Yankee Charlie is in charge of the project.

When he heard the daring sounds of the Spiral Tribe, Okupé, Desert Storm, Metek, and numerous other innovative European sound systems in the mid-1990s, the Frenchman fell in love with the joyful free-raving days. 'Sea Wall' is his new EP, and he has already published a track on Algumritmo, demonstrating his revitalised energy of creation after ten years of health problems and personal lessons learnt.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "The Bird Maker" with a soulful and timeless sound. The deep and morphing pads combine with skipping claps and a swirling synth break as it oozes class, quality, and old-school grooves ready for enlightening any dance floor.

After is a small summer hiatus Floorfiller Music is back with its most anticipated release to date. Techno virtue Joyhauser delivers an astonishing new track with two remixes. One by a techno legend and one by a true Drumcode revelation: Marco Bailey & Kevin de Vries.

The original track evokes with a busting kick, blipping 303 stabs and a deep rumbling sub-bass. An emotional synth chord sets sail and not much later leads into the key element of the track: a spooky dark melody line from somewhere out of space. The track falls in utter darkness again. Sharp compressed percussion shatters rhythmically on top of the unrelenting bouncing kick. This is truely a dancefloor killer for every time of the night.

Marco Bailey's rendition is much more straightforward. A bonking kick and acid line take you in right away. Supporting the mesmerizing 303 is the endless synth-chord from the original. This repetitive mayhem is later accompagnied by sharp resounding snare rolls and hard hitting percussion. The acid pattern get's more and more aggressive and everything eventually culminates in a resonance driven climax.

Kevin de Vries signature sound is heard very clearly in his take of Bad Generator. He takes the melodic components of the track and sculpts them into an epic trance lead line. Feelings of devotion emerge when this note-pattern is heard. The drop seems to leave nothing more to be desired but eventually the track leads the listener beautifully into its last final act, only wanting more.

Tauten is a label from Serbia and ran by TKNO and that has seen contributions from many established techno names such as Samuel L. Session, Mr. Bizz, Eric Sneo, Spektre, Vegim and Alex Dolby to name only a few.

Their latest three track single comes Frankfurt fellow Dave Simon following well received releases for the likes of Dutch imprint Planet Rhythm, Driving Forces and AFU Limited. With the original are two remixes by the relentless UK legend Mark Broom and South Africa based artist D_Know.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is the Mark Broom remix of “Rodium” that starts with a looping and hypnotic flow, full of analogue warmth combined with gritty textures. Stripped back and raw, simplicity is the key here, using a deep tubular synth as the main hook that morphs and migrates its sound giving a brain workout with its abstract tones over the driving, jackin’ beat.
