Their inspiration for this project was the sunny, colourful and vibrant atmosphere which defines their beloved city - Tel Aviv.
To make this vision whole, they united forces with a very talented group of artists, perfectly creating each in his way a different approach to their vision. 
This release focuses on swirling hypnotised vocals ,and old-school rhythm, creating a dance floor-oriented release just in time for the hot summer months.

Mutual Rytm is back with more searing techno, this time in the form of a welcome return to wax from venerated Aussie mainstay Shane Yates, aka Alpharisc. 

Melbourne’s Alpharisc has been making music since 1993, initially with humble tools like the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500, before putting together and building a growing collection of hardware. He has always maintained a somewhat reclusive character since breaking through with the city’s renowned Wetmusik party and label collective following the release of his first EP in 1999 and has always kept a nostalgic touch in his music alongside his signature Alpharisc sound. Following a string of digital EPs on the likes of Future Retro Music, this is his first vinyl 12” in two decades as he returns to Mutual Rytm following his appearance on the Federation Of Rytm II compilation, serving up his bustling ‘Ram Face’ EP. 

The powerful ‘Formation Filter’ opens up with a powerful techno groove built from rock-solid kicks and rumbling bass that will rattle walls. Snares and synth rolls peel off the drums as they race onwards and grow ever wilder and more intense for maximum destruction. ‘Circus Fear’ is another stylish linear workout with lithe synth details and loopy drums peppered with coarse claps and hits to up the ante, while ‘Hot Morning’ brings even more fire with its big, churning percussive clatter and supersized hi-hats racing along over more bulky beats. 

Things get more unhinged with the hard-edged ‘Ram Face’, which has pummelling drums and scraping hits forming a barrage of industrialised sound; a lead from a SID chip will bring a smile to those who are familiar with its sound playing a hypnotic lead over the top. The final track on wax, ‘The Old One’, builds up cosmic tension, haunting synth lines and howling solar winds into another peak time techno weapon. As always with the label, a digital bonus cut ‘Hairyman’ provides a special treat and delivers another frosty techno roller with pent-up energy and compelling drum programming.

Behind The Sun (Dub) is the track that gives you first glimpse at the sound palette of this first record on russian label "Potential Move". Unlike many tracks with 303 bassline widely known for being used as a warehouse weapon knocking bricks hard out the wall, this track shows that it can have a bright, dreamy and somewhat, a romantic take on the genre delivering it in a very unusual way. The bassline is being accompanied with a blissful, lush pad adding a bit chorus and delay to taste creates a very harmonic vibe where all the elements are perfectly coming in together. If you’re looking for a jam that would be a soundtrack to your bright moments, don’t look no further - this one will do the trick without a doubt. PREMIERE : Shelter On Wax - Behind The Sun (Dub)

The tall build overlooked the city with an overbearing sense of presence. The people who walked upon the streets beneath the towering beast were undermined and overwhelmed by its existence. It cast a shadow into the core of their homes and their lives. Within the confines of the luxury suites and the sprawling penthouses the rich would dine and play, happy in the carefree sense of disregard which was afforded to them by the four walls. Out there on the streets it was tough, a stark contrast to another life. 

Shelter On Wax is set to release a new EP called "Oranienstrasse" on Lagaffe Tales. The Berlin based producer offers great promise and we were also startlingly impressed by the Gnork remix which is lush, elegant house music at its finest.

The roundabout has corners. The speed increases. Bossman Axefield doing an old switch up before the lights blink into one big twisting remix. The harness of the dwelling mind is best served raw. This is a feast - this is a bibble. A halfpace is a staircase where the stair turns back in exactly the reverse direction of the lower flight of steps. This reminds me of a memory back in the '90s. Recognize those sounds? Can you fathom? I want this taxi ride to last forever.

Dutch outfit Dynamic Reflection have been a cornerstone of discovering great music and artists since 2008 having included works from the likes of Blawan, Marcel Fengler, Shifted, Jeroen Search as well as supporting underground talent.

Landing on their sister label The Nursery is Polish producer DEAS with the Perception EP. He has been carving a solid path of late with music on Planet Rhythm, Marco Bailey’s MATERIA and Pan-Pot’s Second State, as he continues to make strong impressions with his expertly crafted club creations.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the fifth and final track “Scanner” for its Detroit influenced design. Full of dystopian visionary and deep chords, it’s a melodic trip into end of the night vibes delivering classic, timeless techno that will surely satisfy the soul.

Christian, alias C. Clearly, discovered his enthusiasm for electronic music in the late 1980s when wave, punk and EBM were still played on the same night in independent clubs in Germany. When techno became popular in the early 1990s, Christian spent his nights dancing and partying in Frankfurt clubs like 'Omen' and 'Dorian Gray'. Yet he didn't discover the turntables until in his 50s. In his mixes, electronic and techno appear in a variety of ways - melodious at times, or grooving, but usually straightforward and with a driving beat. Mind your breathing - and enjoy the beauty of the present moment.
