The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Hemka. "Trululu" comes off the new v/a and debut release, Music For Strange Creatures, from Supergloss' X-IZE. Showcasing the diversity of electronic music, the label introduces a collection of nine tracks, each reflecting the independent character and approach of its creator. Part two from the Out Of Place (@out-of-place-735125464) records camp is finally here. Based in Croatia, the new label project is ran by Volster and @Miss_Sunshine who introduces her new alias Insolate following a release highly respected imprint from DJ Deep called Deeply Rooted in France.

Renew is a vinyl only release that covers hypnotic and glitchy sounds to energetic acid influenced flows. The second original track we chose for this DT:Premiere goes by “Deep In The Shades” and it’s moody, driving style is totally compelling. The eerie atmosphere and modular twangs make this a real functional DJ tool with heaps of character.

“When I started to work on this track, I could not envision how it would turn out, I was just making it, bit by bit. After doing the first beats, I made the bassline using Reaktor. The sound and the sequence reminded me a bit of the old school stuff from The Hacker and David Carreta and the idea of inviting Kittin to do the vocals came to mind. She said she loved the track and she was gonna do the vocals and the result could not be better. I am a huuuge fan of hers going back many years and I have a lot of her records from when I started playing, right through to her recent productions. I remember when she went to Brazil about 15 years ago to play at one of the most loved clubs there at the time called Lov.e. I could not be there but I saw her on TV when she gave an interview on one of the country’s biggest channels. I vividly remember calling all my family to see it – I felt a huge admiration for her, her music, her style and everything about her. And I still do! I was a 17-year-old living in the Brazilian countryside at the time watching one of my idols on TV and could never have imagined that one day we would be doing a track together. Nthercyte is the name of the project and artist name created by Franko Štimac. Franko Štimac comes from Croatia, specifically from Osijek, his hometown. Franko's love for electronic music began in his childhood. He found the greatest inspiration for this project in EDM DJ and musician Porter Robinson, especially in his alias name Virtual Self. 

Under his artist name and project Nthercyte, Franko works in digital art inspired by the aesthetics of the Y2K era, with an emphasis on Digital Abstract that was popular during the 2000s. This style is experiencing a revival called Neo-Y2K aesthetic. 

In addition to visual art, Franko as Nthercyte, also works in music, versatilely orienting himself to different genres of electronic music, primarily such as Techno and Trance.
