With a career spanning over twenty years - traversing from illegal underground raves in late ‘90s Croatia to hypnotising dancefloors the world over - she’s contributed considerably to the international scene as a producer, DJ, label head and more. Known as a producer for releases on a range of highly acclaimed imprints, her new EP for BPitch follows an appearance on the We Are Not Alone compilation back in 2020.. Utilising a vast range of hardware and software, and drawing upon influences accrued over decades of passion for non-conformist electronic music, Insolate’s strain of groove-driven techno is radiant, warm, and carefully balanced.

Thirteen EPs and several VA’s make up the story of Marcel Fengler’s IMF label, and the music continues to go from strength to strength. The latest addition to the release catalogue may be one of the strongest to date, featuring a generous number of individual inputs inside a six-track EP. Delivering the goods this time, Stuttgart-based Rove Ranger serves up two sublime stompers, with enigmatic London local The Advent serving up a thumping remix for the first half of this split release. Madrid’s Rodiaz supplies another duo of weighty originals on the second side, backed up by legendary Scotish techno titans Slam.

Rove Ranger’s ‘Workout’ opens proceedings energetically, revolving around a rolling acid bassline, swirling tonal percussion, offbeat licks, catchy vocal chops and crisp, driven hat grooves to churn out an impressive opening track before The Advent puts his own deeper, darker spin on it, pulling the original track around through a series of envelopes and creative modulations, giving it an entirely different persona. Rove Ranger closes off his side of the release with the breakbeat - laced sounds of ‘Unforgotten’, implementing endless audio width alongside pensive chords, thumping industrial grooves and hollowed-out sub-bass.

Rodiaz kicks the second half of the EP off with a bang, coming in brutal and fast on ‘Space Methods’ through an array of thudding drum grooves and rattling percussive toppers to form an unconventionally gripping beat structure - subtly accented with minimal melodic components to add endless character to this peak-time bomb. Slam follows up with an archetypally hard-hitting rendition, firing off a relentless assault of weighty kicks, rattling hat grooves and coarse industrial fills, leaving very little room for a breather throughout this tirade of hair-raising tenacity before Rodiaz distills the EP into a close with the groove focused ‘Output Methods’, playing on detuned tonal elements alongside tribal-infused percussion and eerie pads from start to finish.

Kristian Heikkila has relaunched his techno record label Konstruktion with a raw and analogue EP titled 'Bounce.'

Based in Stockholm, Kristian Heikkila is a Swedish artist whose style is heavily influenced by the likes of Robert Hood, and he has previously featured on prestigious record labels ranging from Pan-Pot's Second State to A.Paul's Naked Lunch. He also has forthcoming music on Hertz's recently relaunched imprint Sway.

With a back catalogue that spans over a decade, Kristian Heikkila has a timeless style of techno that orientates around the jackin' rhythms of fast-paced percussion and jazz-infused energy of hypnotic synth lines.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track, "Bounce" that has a rolling, jackin' groove and rhythmic vocal stabs layered over a rumbling bassline as well as the analogue tones of modulating synths.

After a recent appearances in labels such as Trip, RSPX, DCLTD, Odd Event & Mindtrip, The acclaimed Spanish producer Flug taking over the fourth instalment of his Barcelona Based up and coming label "Existentia Music".

The four tracks EP, signatured with the artists remarkable production quality, marked one of his best releases to date.

The first track, "Hypenoarance," is a faithful reflection of the evolution of contemporary techno sound; a minimalist piece that carries a powerful rhythmic and mental charge despite its simplicity in elements. Following suit, "Destination Unknown" masterfully blends percussions with a strong bassline, offering a complete sonic progression. "Answers," the third cut, delves into a mental flight, characterized by melodies and pads that seamlessly blend with the classic sounds of the TR909 and TR808 drum machines. Finally, "Slow Down" stands out as the most distinctive cut of the EP. According to Flug, this project was rescued from his old archives and stands out for its minimalist approach, true to his style.

He continues his musical journey with the influences from Hip-Hop, Acid House, D'n'b, Dub and with his own Label Konstruktion.
Besides being released on labels such as Second State, Sway, UponYou Records and Gynoid Audio to mention a few, he plays frequently at clubs as an Live act or DJ.
