Ascetic Limited is excited to welcome a fresh talent to their roster, San Francisco Based Producer and DJ Lindsey Herbert. 

Lindsey is no stranger to the techno circuit, DJing around the US and internationally the past few years. She is now venturing into production, this release marking her debut EP and debut on the Los Angeles imprint. 

The title track "Eine Reise durch den Geist" provides powerful groove supported by mesmerizing rhythms and deep pads. Next, "Zyklus" brings a heavy driving bass line, bringing the intensity to the dancefloor. Lastly, Motionen's remix combines Lindsey's atmosphere with Motionen's tripped out interpretation of her work.

Founded in 2000 by Spanish techno icon @cristianvarela, the now esteemed Black Codes Experiments imprint has, over the past two decades, forged itself a firm reputation as one of the most prestigious, forward-thinking labels on the international electronic music circuit.

Home to some of underground techno’s biggest hitters (Regis, Mark Broom, The Advent, Ken Ishii, Takaaki Itoh, Tensal, P.E.A.R.L and Arnaud Le Texier to name just a few) and often given the same reverence as labels such as Tresor, R&S and Music Man, what Cristian and his label partner Ian Axide have built over the past twenty years is nothing short of remarkable.
