“When writing ‘Storyteller’, I wanted to capture the essence of the desert's mystique and beauty. There's something about that vast, open space - the stillness, the raw power - that really spoke to me” says Sagia. “I wanted to take listeners on a sonic journey through that landscape: drifting across dunes beneath a star-studded sky, deeper into the heart and soul of the desert. The profound silence of the desert, the whispering wind and the ever-changing patterns of the sand dunes really sparked my creative fire”.

PACE is a new club event and label based in Berlin, and for the inaugurating release they have banded together a pool of techno talent supplying six original tracks of top quality.

Catching our ear from this selection is HAYES boss VIL, the Portuguese producer has also appeared on labels such as Shlomi Aber’s Be As One, Alex Dolby’s Affekt, Planet Rhythm and TWR72’s Float Records.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Moderna” that instantly blazes a trail of bliss with it’s jackin’ and spacey vibe. Full of classic 909 flavour and modern texture design, it’s the perfect brew of style and substance we think is timeless.

Episode 17 is almost here and for this months show we welcome label owner, promoter and DJ, VOLSTER 

Based in Osijek, Croatia Volster is an artist I have admired for some time now. He first caught my attention with his “Out of place” label, a project co-owned with his partner Insolate. Since then he has gone on to achieve incredible things for in his career and for his scene. Including his first gig at the infamous Berghain back in September last year. 

His “TRAUM” events have been a highlight for the Osijek scene carefully curating and inviting some of worlds most interesting artists. 

His latest project, a solo run label called “Secessions” built purposely to project is own tastes in Techno.  With the next release due on November 6th where he invites the very talented Dutch national Hitam with 4 dance floor ready cuts that have already been gaining some fantastic support.

SYXT has its roots in Berlin with owners Ketch and MZR at the helm. Launched in 2018 there have been contributions from artists like Tom Hades, Vegim, Mary Velo and XHEI.

The latest release is their third compilation release made of sixteen original tracks and that welcomes producers like Juan Trujillo, Hitam, MZR, Müzmin, Shkedul and many others showcasing a wide variety of eclectic techno styles in one place.

Sweden’s Samuel L Session is known as a veteran in the scene, releasing music from 1996 and running numerous label projects over the years such as SLS, Cycle and Klap Klap as well as his music landing on illustrious imprints such as Slam’s Soma, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, or ARTS.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Suspended Animation” that is a prime example of less is more. Hypnotic and subtle, the groove flows effortlessly with suspense and knob-twiddling tweaks to keep you attentive to the smallest changes, completed with captivating claps dripping in atmospherical tension to top off a truly enchanting treasure.
