Chilean based producer Diego Oroquieta returns to Soma for his 2nd full release with the 'Aquadance' EP. Armed with 4 uniquely produced and distinct tracks, Oroquieta moves easily between warping and hypnotic sounds to more tougher and abrasive material.

'I Finished My Homework' is a relentless, drum heavy opener that leans on a hard hitting and continuous rhythm as title track 'Aquadance' takes a deeper, hypnotic route with pulsating, warping synths creating a dark tension throughout. 'La Serpiente Perdio Su Rumbo' once again brings Oroquieta’s tougher sound, as pounding drums back looped out synths before 'Amazing Dance' closes out the release with distorted and unyielding power.

Momentum Remixes brings together a series of reinterpretations that explore different perspectives on the original album. These remixes pick up on key elements hypnotic synth lines, distinctive stab sounds, 909 driven percussion and rework them into varied directions.

The focus lies on functional, club oriented productions that still leave space for atmosphere and depth. The release spans from stripped back, groove driven tracks to more forceful, hypnotic versions, creating a tension between control and emotion. The final track brings the journey to a close with a melodic, emotionally rich piece that softens the intensity and adds a reflective,
almost cinematic quality rounding off the release with subtlety and warmth.

Swiss DJ-producer Honorée debuts on Rekids with two intricate numbers featuring Swedish producer Evigt Mörker.

A key component in Switzerland’s thriving electronic music scene, Honorée is an accomplished DJ and no stranger to playing alongside the upper echelons of house and techno. She now demonstrates her
production abilities with an excellent inaugural outing on Rekids.

‘Pearls’ sees deep notes and stuttering percussion join echoing French vocals for a stripped-back exhibition of mesmerising house.
 
‘Feeling’ integrates sultry chords with syncopated drums whilst a
whispering voice ebbs in and out of the mix. Evigt Mörker, known for appearances on Semantica Records and Konstrukt, then steps up for a rhythmic and ethereal rendition of ‘Pearls’.

Samuli Kemppi has been pushing new boundaries and influencing techno culture for well over a decade based in the hearty North of Finland.

Alongside his worldwide appreciated label and show Deep Space Helsinki ran with Juho Kusti, Samuli has notable releases on labels such as Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver, Perc Trax, Nonplus, and M_REC LTD.

In 2016 he Launched his own label project called Power of Voltages and New Iron Age is the sophomore release, once again showing Samuli’s flourishing solo works.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the first track “Ferrous Patch” that comprises of majestic modular sounds and an acid influence for good measure. A spaced out and hypnotic groove that’s full of character and a club sensibility, gets loaded with crisp layers and an affluence of electronic soul.
