This is a song I wrote by way of fan-service to Simon Viklund, the incredible videogame composer behind the soundtrack to Payday 2. His signature style of varied drum patterns, constantly fresh, pressure-driven music and his excellent sense of space have all inspired me to shamelessy copy him to produce this track. All credit to him, really, and long may he continue to do great things within the industry.

One Hundred Million Yen (inspired by the 'Payday 2' OST) - The NotAGame Collection (WIP)

I love the way this track ties in with the story. "Leviathan" shares the same intro as "Dig," but turns into something entirely different afterwards. It mimics how the player visits the same location several times, first while not having all the information about the dark machinations of the plot (Dig) and later when they have a bigger picture of the conspiracy unraveling (Leviathan).

A couple of relatively simple elements combined with an experimental layer using several stages of granular processing. All the basic components were made with Voltage Modular plus some additional granular processing using GRFX from Imaginando. Mixed and manipulated in a single "Live" improvised take.
