Challenged by the one and only Mo Jakob during DJ practice to make a more eclectic mix ("go beyond house in this mix"). I made this mix a few day back. Spanning from some afro beats, deep house and some (nu) disco. Enjoy!

Mix&Learn 02 | Boundary Spanning

It has been a while since I last uploaded. But I made a more high energy mix with some techno tunes that I have been playing on repeat for the last couple of months. Traveling to Berlin and experiencing the city through an alternative walking tour in which I learned about the street art, squatting and clubbing culture, has inspired this somewhat eclectic mix.

Another year has flown by. This time a looking forward

The first full year that I have been playing music. I felt so super fortunate that, in March 2019, I got my first "real" gig at Roodkapje following the Slutwalk organised by Kontra during International Women's Day (s/o to Nala Brown for hooking me up). Super nervous and it was not my best gig to say the least. But I learned so much and was even more eager to keep practicing and improving myself. 

Fast forward to getting asked to play at different parties, venues and even on the radio (see my PLACE operator show). With the highlight of being on the same line-up as Josey Rebelle at Bird in Rotterdam. Setting new goals to, next to finishing my PhD (fingers crossed) continue playing here and there (there being outside of Rotterdam or The Netherlands?) and maybe even een festival.

This mix contains some of my all time and most recent faves. Happy that I managed to get over my perfectionism and uploaded. Enjoy!

Turned 28 y'all two days ago. So I decided to make a birthday mix. Some bits and pieces of what I would play in the club. Now coming to you from your speakers!

Soul filling tunes from Haai, Octo Octa, Neana, LSDXOXO, Kush Jones, Loraine James and more that got me feeling all types of way.
