Reunion

"In the Bleak Midwinter" by English poet Christina Rossetti was first published in 1872.  In 1906 Gustav Holst composed a setting to these verses now sung throughout the world.  At this dark time in humanity it is our sincere hope that you will refect upon these verses with us and ponder the hope and true meaning of Christmas.

This song I wrote back in 2022 and I wrote it while depressed about Covid but it seems to fit right in with the present! It's basically about the anxiety one feels when life suffocates you in any way. It seems everything has gone haywire lately! Grocery prices, the rent is too damn high, our government has gone berserk, A.I. taking over our music and our minds, on and on and on and on! The song was longer but I edited down for the video which just droped on YouTube! It's a very depressing song but I think I played some cool guitar on it and sang it ok! The tail end of the song is another song I wrote around the same time called "Sick Inside", I added it to the track to play over the credits in the video, and by the way, I am feeling quite sick inside! Stay cool everybody! Maybe it will pass?🙏😎✌🏼

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors.
