Dying Ember - This Is The Bridge (from the album 'Statues')

Hace algunos años atrás estaba una bellísima mujer en Barcelona, amante de las artes y por algún extraño motivo descubrió Década 2.
Y fue por medio de una pieza que compuse en otro momento más de absoluta depresión. Francamente nunca le di mayor importancia al track y poco después lo baje de las redes como acostumbro hacer.
Mientras tanto esta mujer en Barcelona, le preguntaba a sus múltiples amistades y amigos productores y conocedores de música electrónica, si sabían algo de un proyecto mexicano llamado Década2.
Fue hasta 2018 que ella ya viviendo en México le dijo a su pareja que fueran al Ctrl F (Hoy CMD F) pues aparte de Front 242 y Gary Numan estaría aquel misterioso proyecto para ella llamado Década 2.
Una semana después de aquel increíble evento, la pareja de esta chica me busca, fue a casa, conversamos y bebimos, ella fue hasta después 
y me contó toda esta historia fascinante de búsqueda de D2 y de este track en particular. Nos hicimos grandes, muy grandes amigos, tanto que los he acompañado un montón de veces en sus maravillosas fiestas "Daughter Of Satan". Ella es Arantza, su marido Alex y se han convertido en presencias fundamentales en mi vida. Hoy hace un año, festejábamos a Arantza y de ahí nos movimos a Normadie para gozar otro gran Daughter Of Satan. Este día quiero recordarle cuanto la quiero y cuanto aprecio su búsqueda de mi track "El huracán se llevó mi nombre " y de mi proyecto. Sin duda la abrazo más que nunca, pues también ella simboliza para mi a la entrañable España y todos sus países y regiones que tanto amo y que tanto les debo y que hoy más que nunca nos solidarizamos por tan tremenda tragedia que esta causando la terrible pandemia.
Arantza te amo, a España también.
Ya nos abrazaremos de nuevo, felices y de pie.

Década 2 nace el 26 de septiembre de 1985 en la ciudad de México.
Proyecto creado por Mateo Lafontaine, quien en un principio invita a Carlos García a unirse a la banda. Posteriormente Mateo continuó solo hasta el día de hoy.
