This is A N K A's first release on phuture, and we're glad to have them on board. We tried to pinpoint A N K A's style into a genre... and spent too long trying to find a word, so we wrote this long sentence instead. To attempt to put logic behind their sound, and transfer that logic into words, we interviewed A N K A, which can be found below!

Question: How do you make money if you do?

Answer: I work in retail, purely because I enjoy fashion and I love talking to people. So, to be able to converse the whole day is actually pretty fun. I mean, you discover some interesting characters haha but you also meet some incredibly talented people. So a job like that with dope gears to sell and having some Phuture Collective music playing in store is AWESOME

It’s been a vivid journey so far. Within months we have been introduced to a lot of new people, expanded our boundaries and celebrated our new achievements with our good friends and family members. YOU have been an integral part of our journey and also have been responsible for taking our message across Europe, Asia and the United States. Therefore we'd like to dedicate the next two projects to YOU: "Friends" & "Family".

27th of April is the launch date for "Family". As you may guess, it’s made up out of our current ZenSupremacy roster. You can’t measure the amount of excitement we have bringing this artistic diversity to you. It’s our first time getting together in such a large-scaled project. But again, all of this wouldn't be possible without YOU, our friends and family.

The idea for "Lowest Moment" was born when Cole Lumpkin (on vocals), was diagnosed with COVID 19 / Coronavirus. The lyrics detail his experience not only with the virus symptoms, but also overcoming the anxiety and depression that followed. The collaboration came about with producer DECAP after Cole found inspiration in one of DECAP's samples, and built the demo around it. He sent the demo to DECAP to produce, and they finished the collaboration remotely.
