Los Angeles, California serves as home base for the concept group called Vitamin String Quartet. The group is made up of studio musicians who are brought together to interpret and record orchestra style covers of music from all types of genres ranging metal, techno, country, pop, rock and hip-hop dance music. While the quartet uses a wide assortment of artists and instruments, one fairly constant member of the group is violinist Tom Tally. Tally has been intimately involved in the composing, arranging and conduction of many songs on approximately 50 of the albums that have been recorded by the group. While the group is referred to as a string quartet, the reality is that more individuals are usually involved, using instruments such as violins, cellos, percussion, brass and woodwinds. The group was originally brought together in 1999 as an experimental project. They wanted to determine the effects of using classical style instruments to create new and different sounds on popular recordings. Early on, the FM broadcast station WWHK in Concord, NH would play the group's music 24 hours a day, every day, for a period of time. The popularity of the group's music has led to the music being featured on TV and in the movies. Credits include So You Think You Can Dance (2008), TV show The Vampire Diaries (2010), the 100th episode of Gossip Girl and the fifth season finale of Modern Family (2014). Throughout the years, the group has been involved in the recording of over 200 different albums. In 2009, the group stepped out of the box a bit and recorded some original material provided by some of the various musicians on the album Per_Versions.

Part rock band, part international comedy sensation, part three guys who spend an uncomfortable amount of time together, Dead Cat Bounce have been touring the world relentlessly, on a very tight budget since 2008.

In that time we’ve been to all the world’s major comedy festivals, including the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Kilkenny Cat Laughs, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival, where we won the Time Out Jury Prize in 2010 and the People’s Choice Award in 2011. We’ve played to full houses at some pretty enormous venues, like the Hammersmith Apollo in London, the St Denis in Montreal, the Palais Theatre in Melbourne and Vicar Street in Dublin. We’ve played most of the big music festivals in the UK and Ireland and we’ve been on the telly in Ireland, the UK, Canada and Australia. 

We’re probably the only act in the world who have supported both Jason Manford and The Darkness.

Cfit began in bedrooms and homemade studios, as what was originally a side project for Noël Duplaa, gradually evolved into a lush and ornate collection of woozy, bruised, melancholy anthems. Playing their first gig at Electric Picnic 2010 as a three-piece, Cfit expanded to a five-piece just in time to play Hard Working Class Heroes 2010, where they were received extremely well.  Soon after, they released their debut single "Don't Sweat the Small Shit", which received worldwide reviews:

Cfit launched their debut album "Triage" to a sold out Crawdaddy on April 1st, and garnered much praise for their efforts:

Having been listed on several best of 2011 roundups, being selected for Whelan's One's to Watch for 2012 festival, and chosen by state.ie as one of their Faces of 2012, cfit released the follow up to Triage, Morning Bruise, in 2013, earning comparisons ranging from Elbow and Radiohead to Bjork and Four Tet.

Cfit will be releasing their sophomore album, Throwaway Survival Machine, following the release of their single Dust Silhouettes, along with a second album, Cfit vs. Gravity, to follow in 2016.

Funeral Suits are a four-piece from Ireland consisting of Brian James, Mik McKeogh, Greg McCarthy and Dar Grant. The music they make is expansive without being overblown, heavy without being menacing and all the more thrilling for its restraint. 

A shared love of epic, distorted guitars, blistering harmonius pop, art rock and
electronica led to the band spending the best part of two years holed up in a disused office space in deepest North County Dublin, writing, rehearsing and at times venturing out to play as special guests for Franz Ferdinand, Passion Pit, The Maccabees, Local Natives amongst others.

Funeral Suits have recorded their debut album 'Lily of the Valley' with acclaimed producer Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths) which is due for release on Model Citizen records on June 1st in Ireland and June 4th everywhere else.
