Poemes is the brand new album from vocal sensation, Renee Fleming. The centrepiece of this album of 20th century French vocal masterpieces, Renee Fleming makes her first-ever recording of Ravel's ravishing Sheherazade. Complementing Sheherazade is Olivier Messiaen's collection of love songs to his young wife, the Poemes pour Mi. There is one piece written for Renee by the doyen of French composers, Henri Dutilleux, his dramatic Le Temps l'horloge. The album is completed by two earlier songs by Dutilleux, specially-orchestrated for this album and recorded in the presence of the composer.

A new year, a new slew of sickness from chief filth peddlers Funkatech… And it starts with a lewd ode to the original badboys of modern music: rock stars.&#13;

So press play, grab a TV set and throw it out of the nearest window as hard as you can. Funkatech mainstays Specimen A have totally rewritten the naughty rulebook with this stomping, low-swung glitch-ridden salute to the hairy heroes of guitar music feat the vocal talents of up &amp; coming rapper Suffice. Complete with a rifle-style riff, stadium-ready synth stabs, anthemic bass trills and a spitfire list of antics so wild they’d make Axl Rose blush, it’s a fine reminder of the carnage this Brighton-based trio can cause.&#13;

Defenestrated TVs aside, there’s plenty more bad behaviour across this handsome five track multi-genre EP. As well as a swear-free version of ‘Rock Star’ we also have the following…&#13;

Finally we hit ‘Closer’ where extreme party vibes are the essential order of the day. Showcasing their D&amp;B abilities with unfettered aplomb, this hook-up with the ever-emphatic Miss Trouble balances toxic levels of heaviness with fleeting moments of euphoric beauty to create a D&amp;B fusion that’s not dissimilar to Chase &amp; Status at their darkest or Black Sun Empire at their most emotional. Specimen A - Closer ft. Miss Trouble [Rock Star EP] - Funkatech Records

I usually practice piano everyday I sit and play different composers. The Goldberg Variations is one of my favorite works in piano literature. It is so perfect it is freighting.
While I was playing them I started changing them and then it became something totally new. I composed these variations in a span of 5 hours. There are a total of 15 variations which I decided to performed them differently in two studios with two different pianos. The best pianos were used for this recording. Fazioli for the dreamy interpretation and a Bossendorfer for the baroque interpretation. There are a total of 30 pieces on the CD and we are all so happy with the results. The music is coming out any day know and I will post the link once is released.
