My guests for this episode are Deckheadz. This mix series / podcast is not only about DJ’s and artists I’ve looked up to and played alongside but also fresh talent and these guys have set the bar with their most unique sounding mixes I’ve ever heard. Tempo changes at the drop of a hat and they leave not one genre of hard dance out, covering all areas through their cheeky quick edits. Having only formed as a duo last year, Lee & Leanne are definitely ones to look out for when the clubs reopen.

Welcome to Episode 14 of The Hard Files, my guest is an old friend, J-Trax and having met him at one of his old promotions “Impact” in York back in 2004 he’s since come a long way including his infamous Duo act with Onex who sadly parted ways in 2016 to now being one of the leading Hardstyle producers in the UK with releases on RVRS Bass, Loverloud, Blutonium Records and also managing his own label HDUK alongside Legend Cally, MKN & Ed E.T. He’s also recently dipped his toes into The UK Hardcore scene with multiple releases on OneSeventy & KTRA. Jamie’s passion for music shows on and off stage as all this earned him a tour of Australia & Japan and that has been noticed by the legendary Northern Hard Dance event Uprising who have since given him a residency.

An afternoon of Reverse bass/Hardstyle

This month on the #HardcoreTakeover I was joined by Australian DJ/Producer/Podcast host and all round great guy Emoticon, We done a great podcast covering all aspects from producing hard dance music to podcasting and more but more on that in a few weeks when the full podcast drop.
