Le hip-hop français, ou rap français, est un courant musical ayant émergé en France au milieu des années 1980 et qui s'est popularisé dans la décennie suivante avec l'éclosion de groupes de rap comme IAM, Suprême NTM, Sniper, Fonky Family, Lunatic ou de rappeurs comme MC Solaar et Oxmo Puccino. Tout en restant continuellement inspiré par les rappeurs d'outre-Atlantique, il su acquérir une personnalité propre, oscillant entre revendications sociopolitiques, messages positifs ou festifs et tentation commerciale.

The SOLOW EP features the new track “Dum Dee Dum,” which mixes the group’s trademark blend of hip-hop, trap, and electronica influences. Also featured on the SOLOW EP are tracks “I Just Can’t Deny”—an anthem built for stadium crowds and festival denizens alike—and the hip-hop heavy “Ratchet Hoe$,” which best illustrates KEYS N KRATES’ dominance of the current electro-trap movement, as well as “Treat Me Right.”

Ghanaian-born, New York-based musician, composer and producer Blitz the Ambassador is poised to take the music scene by storm this spring with the release of his third studio album AFROPOLITAN DREAMS April 28 on Jakarta Records.
