2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

It's now exactly one month ago that we found ourselves at The Burning Man Landing Ceremony hosted by family members, crowd and artists alike of The Gardens of Babylon. The thought of the dust instantly takes me back to warm, fuzzy memories. To the moments of love and appreciation. 

It was Charlotte's set that took me to another state of being. She performed at The Gardens before during the Belgium launch in May, but she evolved into this sensational goddess sharing music partially produced by the artist herself and partially by artists that we all adore..

Bedrock are proud to welcome the return of one of the most consistent names in the labels history: Luke Brancaccio. As one half of Brancaccio & Aisher and Suicide Sports Club, Luke has been casually denting the Bedrock discography since the label launched Just like he is again now on Oblivion teaming up with talented studio partner and founder of the Platipus Records label, Simon Berry of Art of Trance fame and also one half of Union Jack. 

An eight-minute-plus cosmic odyssey that sucks you right into the heart of its atmosphere by way of palpitating bass, ghostly humanised harmonies and a classically informed riff, Oblivion truly lives up to its name and has been a prize set-piece for Bedrock bossman John Digweed throughout the summer. 

Fresh from releasing his new album on his new label Fryhide, H.O.S.H returns to Bedrock to follow up last years tasty Lunchtime with an equally incendiary remix. Maintaining Luke and Simons sense of stateliness and theatrics, H.O.S.H lays down a strident marching groove that breaks down into a sudden flash of synth euphoria before rolling its sleeves up and getting back to business again. 

Dynamically, aesthetically and emotionally, this is an ageless Bedrock record And we have it on good authority that Luke and Simon are already working on a follow up. We cant wait to hear it.
