Nicole Moudaber is a name we are used to hearing on the radar as a Drumcode artist and she is showing us what she can do on the funkier side of the spectrum with her new EP now landing on Truesoul. Both tracks merge her signature techno sound into something that still contains stacks of class and character. The evolving sounds in both tracks build tension and energy to create after hour burners.

John Osborn é considerado por muitos um Dj dos Djs, um daqueles casos em que o avolumar de produções em nome próprio não contribui de forma alguma para a sua projecção atrás dos pratos, pois é aí que se revela o "artista" em toda a extensão da palavra.

Estudante de Arte em Londres, é na Fat Cat Records que encontra os primeiros pedaços de vinil que lhe moldam o destino, assim como nas embrionárias raves ao som de Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke ou Jeff Mills. Saturado do ritmo caótico da capital britânica, e de Technics na bagagem, parte para Berlim, numa altura em que apenas lhe chegavam ecos de um club chamado Tresor, de uma excêntrica festa denominada Love Parade, e a cidade estava longe de ser considerada a actual Meca do techno.
Com tempo e disponibilidade mental para se dedicar ao djing, é com naturalidade que se vê convidado a actuar nos eventos promovidos pelo Sonar Kollektiv, de Jazzanova, e paulatinamente vir a ocupar o seu lugar no circuito local. Cria então TANSTAAFL, plataforma que se desdobra num programa de rádio, editora e produtora de eventos, tendo John Osborn como responsável pela programação de noites visionárias no Tresor e Cookies.
A TANSTAAFL, acrónimo de "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch", deu recentemente origem à TANSTAAFL Planets, co-fundada por Julian Smith aka October e também dirigida por Eric Cloutier, contando no seu catálogo com nomes como KEL (Skudge), Joey Anderson ou Bill Yougman.

Residente dos eventos SUB:STANCE, promovidos por Scuba no Panorama Bar, é frequente encontrarmos John Osborn na programação do berlinense Berghain ou do japonês Labyrinth Festival, para além das cada vez mais frequentes tours pela América do Norte e Ásia.

Movendo-se na fina linha entre o house e o techno, de características mais deep e dubby, o britânico conduz-nos como poucos numa viagem emocional pela música de dança, estreando-se entre nós com 3 horas de set.
