Born and raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan New York City in the early 70’s, Adrian was exposed to a diverse mix of musical genres ranging from Classical, Disco to Hip Hop. He migrated to Australia in the late 80’s and experienced the beginning of Sydney’s underground rave scene in the early 90’s. Here he witnessed the birth of Jungle Techno and the very early sounds of the Prodigy followed by House and Progressive at some of Sydney’s first clubs. The pinnacle influence to Adrian’s love of House music was seeing Sasha play for the first time on a harbour cruise in 1993. He packed his bags for London and experienced a revolution of clubbing whilst frequenting clubs such as the Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Renaissance, Malibu Stacey, Cream and the Tyrant parties. Upon his return from the UK, Adrian or as he is known in Sydney – The Grey Wolf, landed a residency at the Burdekin bar in the heart of Sydney’s club capital Oxford Street for 12 years. Influences include Sasha, Lee Burridge, Dave Seaman, Carl Cox and most recently Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Roy Rosenfeld and CID Inc.

I've been listening to electronic music since I was old enough to tune into the John Peel show on Radio 1. Peel first introduced me to Chicago House, Detroit Electro and Rap. I would listen to an entire show with my finger hovering over the record button of my 'tape-recorder' close to the radio speaker just to record whatever 3 electronic imports he would play each night. I wish I'd kept those recordings.
From the moment I first heard 'Roxanne Shante' I sought out everything I could ranging from Kraftwerk, Mike Oldfield, Kurtis Mantronik, Africa Bambata, Grandmaster Flash, Gorgio Morodor, Axel-F, Jean Michel Jarre and just about anyone who used a synth to make music! With the arrival of House in the mid-late 80's the likes of Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Steve Silk Hurley, Adonis and many more American underground House producers, the music had developed into a new, seriously exciting phenomena.
Music progressed at pace with House and Acid imports driving change, the UK in particular underwent an epiphany of sorts in the 80's and 90's. From Break-Dancing to New Romanticism, the music developed, finally morphing into the early genres of Acid Trance, Techno and Progressive Trance. Heavily influenced by American and underground Dutch and German artists and with the advent of clubbing and non-speaking mixing DJ's, it opened up a Pandora's box of new music, influences, sounds and styles. What that amounted to for me (and most others like me) was an ever-growing range of electronic music that was continually breaking free from pigeon-holes and mainstream pop culture. Electronic music had become the new classical music of a generation.
I can only say that electronic or computer music has evolved beautifully in the past 40 years and I love it as much now as the day I first heard John Peel play fantastic American imports.
I'm not anything more than a bedroom DJ and electronic music enthusiast. I have the greatest admiration for those who DJ publicly and seek to build a following or career from DJing, but that’s not a path I’ve tried to follow. I do love to put together great tunes, so for me using this sort of platform for sharing music is perfect for me. I do mixes both on my decks and using Ableton, as sometimes I find it easier to create a journey through that medium. 
As for making music, I’m slowly finding my way around Ableton in order to bring life to the musical ideas rolling around my head. 
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the mixes I post, please give me some feedback and if nothing else, support the artists themselves and buy their music.

From humble beginnings on belt-driven Soundlabs in the mid-90s to commanding crowds with his signature progressive house sound, Ed Steele's journey has been deeply intertwined with the evolution of dance music, his initials are even EDMS. This UK-based DJ and producer cut his teeth in the heart of the rave explosion of the 1990s, a formative experience that ignited a lifelong passion. Tristan Case, is a UK born, Sydney, Australia based producer and DJ. The renowned, long-time Return To Rio resident DJ has been unveiling a series of 
stunning solo musical creations since 2020 to take his career to the next level. His first 
solo release was an epic 6-track EP titled ‘Chapter One’, which Tristan 
released under Behrouz and Megan Nazari’s dream-weaving Do Not Sit On 
The Furniture label, hitting number one on the overall Beatport release chart, along with the number one in the Organic House genre in November 2020 and since Tristan has followed up with 12 top 100 tracks and two further number 1 releases. The future is looking very exciting for Tristan, with several ep’s, singles and remixes already signed and confirmed for release on some of the global music scene’s finest & innovative labels. 

Tristan’s passion for house music was first ignited as a young teenager living through the definitive golden era of the DJ mix compilation album in the mid-90s. As a semi-pro drummer from a very early age, playing the live music circuit in London and the South East of the UK, Tristan taught himself how to DJ on vinyl at the age of 16, opened his mind to the idea of pursuing a creative career, preceded by the time-honoured grounding and invaluable experience gaining path of first becoming a devout bedroom DJ, progressing to tear the roof off with his DJ sets at raucous house parties. After many years of dedication Tristan steadily established himself as a 
key figure within the Sydney scene, which resulted in him earning the enviable role as one of the main residents for Australia’s melodic and progressive house institution -  ‘Return to Rio’ in 2012 which continues to flourish to this day. Tristan is heavily relied on to consistently deliver flawless warm up & close sets for some of the globes heavy weights such as The Martinez Brothers, M.A.N.D.Y, Jodie Wisternoff, Super Flu, Patrice Baumel, SASHA, Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Dirty South and many more. 
 
If you wanted to cram Tristan into a definitive musical box, it would be a decidedly colourful experience, encompassing deeply dreamy yet reassuringly tough, beautifully balanced, melodic, house music, with a distinctly progressive attitude. By incorporating live instrumentation to enhance his trademark highly complex melodies, Tristan’s penchant is to build very emotive, melancholic yet positive storylines within his tracks, backed with a distinctly unique round and powerful rhythm section, which results in incredible music that paints vivid pictures in the mind.
