Welcome to our next instalment in the PC mix series - sorry for the delay but we have made sure its been worth the wait!

If you are a Dub-Tech devotee then I'm sure you are well aware of Upwellings aka Vincent Raude. During this series we have not really focused on Live recordings but when Vincent suggested one we jumped at the opportunity. We are massive fans of Upwellings and are proud to have him aboard + we are also treated to a few unreleased tracks - yess!

This is a well crafted hour of goodness.

All tracks were played live by upwellings exclusively for the primary colours mix series.

The second release of DGTL Records is by the British Fort Romeau. 

Fort Romeau gained recognition with his cultivated ear and apprehension of music, that brought him to put together different styles to create something new and extra to the widespread spectrum of electronic music. The British talent came into the spotlight with releases on Running Back and Ghostly International amongst others.
 
Where ‘Untitled II’ feels like a luminous house tune, with a soundscape that takes you on a journey on top, ‘A Familiar Place’ adds darkness to the EP. The B-side is made up out of raw elements that take you to some industrial site right away. The high tempo kick and hi-hat create a sturdy flow that makes it hard to sit still. All in all, it advocates the vision of the festival and its label, in every way.

Exclusive Luis Junior 'Eternity'

It was one of these magical moments when Luis Junior's track 'Eternity' was dropped in Lehar & Sandrino's Garden of Dreams set in Sarajevo last year. But the wait, which felt like an 'Eternity', is over now and sees the cut being released on Luis Junior's very own label Mooseeka. The Madrilenian created a Mediterranean vibe with his track 'Eternity' that could last as long as the track title suggests. Starting off rather smooth and taking its listener on a one minute bass line ride only, 'Eternity' goes strong as soon as its first synth chords catch the listener's ear. From then on Luis Junior trusts his keen sense of combing a memorable melody with the aforementioned smooth bass line that partly is enriched with chimes as well as additional synth chords and peak in a short break before the track continues with its ultimate groove to take its listeners on a final ride into a Mediterranean sunset.

Luis Junior's EP 'Eternity' will be released April 19th, 2018 on Mooseekaa.

It’s been a year and a half since we last saw La Fleur grace Watergate Records with a proper EP, having been featured on remix duties for Sasha’s ‘Trigonometry’ and her contribution ‘Femton’ to the celebrated 15 Years compilation.

So her brand new ‘Outbreaker’ EP arrives just in time to curb any impatience you might have waiting for her signature blend of house and techno aesthetics fused with modern production techniques that sets her apart from her peers.

La Fleur kicks things off with a wild heaving bass line and crisp, distinctive organic claps on ‘Devil Sigh’ setting the tone for the hypnotic groove that soon turns into a high energy burner of explosive bursts and an incredibly unique lead guaranteeing an absolute hit. It only gets better when one of the hottest acts on the scene, Tuff City Kids, lend their talents for a remix and turn ‘Devils Sigh’ into an analog heavy, future-retro banger that’s as different as it is the same as the original, creating a perfect alternative to the already killer original.

Wrapping things up, La Fleur takes it a little slower and deeper with ‘Outbreaker’ by utilizing lush organic percussion and washed out guitars to build a tune that will be the anthem for early mornings, open airs and beach sessions alike. We couldn’t be happier to have the first lady of Watergate back at the controls and we think you will agree.

The cultured Do Not Sit on the Furniture label is back with a third fantastic EP, this time from label and party boss Behrouz in collaboration with highly rated Spanish artist Squire. 

Currently in the midst of a first proper season residency in Ibiza, Do Not Sit is a party and label that takes you on a musical journey. Magical melodies and deep grooves characterise it and are drawn from 20 plus years experience from Behrouz, who is based in Miami but plays all over the world. 

Wonderland is first here and is a nine minute opus that will send shivers up your spine. It has lush keys and chords draped over soft, rippling drums and is a classy track for those who like real emotion. Honey On My Lips is a more deep, intimate tune that is cosy and personal and will have the floor falling all over each other as it journeys into a starry night sky. 

Painted Walls is the third and final track and another excellent one. It has celestial multi-layered guitar chords ringing out into expansive open spaces as the shuffling drums do subtle, supple dances below. 

This is another spell binding EP from one of house music’s most essential new labels.
