This recording is from the first edition of L’Appuntamento, a series of open-air listening sessions initiated by Villa Lontana Records and Donato Dozzy in Rome. Each gathering pairs a vinyl set by Dozzy with a live electroacoustic performance by a new-generation artist.

In this first edition, held in the garden of Villa Lontana, Donato Dozzy opened the evening with a selection of minimal, folkloric, and acoustic-rooted records — setting the tone for Verde Prato’s live performance.

L’Appuntamento is an ongoing invitation to pause, tune in, and share time through listening.

KPODKPOD is a Bangkok-based DJ and a core member of the 12x12 community — a vital part of the city’s underground scene where music is about connection as much as sound. With an open-eared love for house, hypnotic techno, dub techno, breaks, and many more, her sets move freely across genres while staying grounded in her distinct taste. Guided by feeling rather than formula, she brings a sense of flow that fits each space — from hazy, intimate rooms to full-on dance floors.

Her versatility and instinctive selections have brought her to some of Bangkok’s most respected venues, including Never Normal, Studio Lam, De Commune, and a range of bars and local parties. She’s also one half of Kaipod (alongside KWH), a duo known for their fluid and playful back-to-back sets, with appearances at Karma Krochao, Karma Kastle, and regular nights at 12x12.

For our fourth release, we welcome Basel-based producer Ben Kaczor. ‘To Baby Bones’ showcases the tracks produced as part of Ben’s first live set presented at Above Below Festival in 2024. 

Written as a homage to a loved one, the title track of the EP is a gentle soundscape traveling through memories and subtle body shivers, far away yet never out of heart’s reach. ‘Bridge’, as if hung high above, suffuses the air with a thick emotional haze, lifting slowly as a walk along a fragile structure ends. Wistfully transforming present into past, ‘This Blue Light’ melds with the orange glow of the sun and dissolves into a white cloud. Driving and fizzy 'Punchbag’ brings all the dreamers down to earth. Immersing them straight into the buzzing front left, it buoyantly concludes an ode to the melody of life and the joy of a loving heart — To Baby Bones.

Darwin Wagner (@drwnwgnr) is a Cologne-based live act known for his distinctive hardware performances, moving between stripped-down minimal techno and dub techno live sets. With a strong sense for groove and sonic space, his sets range from tightly focused rhythmic explorations to expansive, echo-laden soundscapes. As a member of the ambivalent collective, Darwin creates immersive live experiences rooted in tactile interaction with his machines.
