"Energia cinetica" is an intense and engaging bass house electro track. The intro is characterized by a sampling of mechanical and industrial sounds, which slowly blend with a deep and pulsating bassline.
The first drop features a syncopated drum and an acidic synth that moves frenetically above the bassline, creating a feeling of movement and acceleration. During the drop, the track is enriched with additional percussive elements and robotic sound effects.
In the second break, the track opens up to a more airy and spatial atmosphere, thanks to ethereal pads and reverb effects. I was listening back to last months set at the MOT. When improvising with a modular synth set up, ideas can meander and flow back and forth and build into something that can be quite exciting and unexpected for the performer and the audience. Here's the last 10 minuets of my set where the ideas I had been wrestling with all seemed to come together. I felt I was getting closer to a sound i've been trying to bring to life for a while, it's not quite there but I think it comes across. Let me know what you think!?
