One of the most eclectic electronic music artists working today, Lawrence Lui’s debut EP ‘Retroism’ garnered 5 million streams and support in tastemaker outlets like Magnet Magazine, The Wire Magazine, WFMU, Indie Shuffle, EDM Tunes, Nexus Radio, Big Shot Magazine, This Song Slaps and more. A remix by Anjunadeep’s Beckwith was released in 2018, followed by an ambitious second EP 'The Genius Of Time' which fused cosmic techno with Buddhist chanson and gonzo songcraft. Inspired by his personal experience of the pandemic, Lui recorded ‘Isolation Loops’, an EP of lo-fi ambient music. An album ‘8 Songs’ followed in 2023, along with a panoply of international remixes from Marko Nastic (Serbia), Julio Victoria (Colombia) and Facets (Brooklyn) and Sergej Snooze (Croatia).

EMBRACING AN ECLECTIC MIX OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC FROM DEEP DISCO TO DEEP SLEEP.

Tyler Stone is a producer/remixer, vocalist, and DJ, who has built her career as one of the first female house music producers and has achieved several top ten Billboard Dance hits with her distinctive West Coast, deep house style.  After receiving a degree in Jazz from Cornish College of the Arts, she moved to San Francisco and embarked on an electronic production career showcasing her talents with some of Dance and Pop music’s finest artists such as Sting, Phoenix, Zero 7, Everything But the Girl, Armand Van Helden, Crystal Waters and N’SYNC.

As an integral part of the San Francisco house music scene, Tyler helped create the legendary 3rd Floor Productions, co-founded Test Press (a quarterly electronic music showcase), and became the “go to” engineer within the house music community, working along side such producers as Miguel Migs, Grammy nominated Jay-J and Chris Lum, and Julius Papp. As a DJ, Tyler co-founded Wanderlust, one of North America’s first Downtempo DJ residencies in San Francisco, and she continues to keep her ear to the ground spinning Indie Dance, Nu Disco, Deep House and Chill.  

Tyler lends her sophisticated programming and distinctively sultry vocals to the band Sutro, an Indie Electronic Pop band that combines live musicianship with DJ sensibility, likened to Phantogram and Goldfrapp.  "It’s the perfect balance of beats, atmospheric electronic elements and accessible pop song writing.”, says Grammy Award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli, who helped shape the sound of their album, Broken Distance.

Tyler has been an active voting member of the Recording Academy since 1997 and a Governor with both the Pacific NW and San Francisco Chapters as well as a Trustee for the Pacific NW Chapter.  During this time, she has participated on many committees involving the awards process, membership, and community outreach, resulting in a broader reach within the national music community.  In addition, she contributed her remix skills to the MusicCares Online Auction. 

Tyler currently lives in Portland, Oregon where she continues to remix and collaborate with other artists and serves on the Board of MusicPortland, a non-profit trade association and advocacy group dedicated to establishing a viable and thriving ecosystem within Portland’s music community.
