Yazyd is a Singapore-born DJ, sound engineer, and music producer interested in music since childhood. Having developed a distinct passion for music at a young age, he learned to play guitar and cultivate his melodic sensibilities. At age 18, he discovered electronic music and underwent a complete shift in his vision of the genre.

Yazyd began learning to spin turntables, already exploring various electronic music styles. Among the genres he attempted, he found himself most drawn to passionate, melancholic shades of house and techno. Renowned for his worldly, culturally inspired hypnotic grooves and dreamy melodies, his style is truly eclectic. Through his music, he can transport listeners on a journey through the sea of his mind.

With a distinct focus on techno, electro, breaks and everything in between, Haan has carved a unique identity, spanning across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the Western hemisphere. His diverse experience includes performances at venues such as the now-defunct KYO in Singapore, as well as international clubs like Sankeys and Dielectric in the UK, and HOR Radio in Berlin, Germany. Resident Advisor has praised his mixing style as "Bounding, energetic techno mixed with old-school flair" in their 2022 Mix Of The Day feature.

In addition to his DJ career, Haan plays pivotal roles as a promoter and curator for the long running label Midnight Shift and his own Modal collective in Singapore. He also holds a residency at Headquarters (SG), a venue dedicated to promoting electronic dance music for the discerning.
