Boogie Oogie Oogie - A Taste of Honey (Dee James rework)

Dee started djing in 1985,playing disco, funk, soul and hip hop before discovering house music listening to Jazzy M`s radio show “The Jackin Zone” in 1986-87. 
Over the years Dee has played at some of clublands seminal clubs and events like Progress in derby, Venue 44 in Mansfield, Cultural Vibes in Plymouth, Luvdup @ Home in Manchester, Mambo in Ibiza, Club UK both London & Wolverhampton where he has played all three rooms, Discovery in Manchester, Drum club in London, Hot to Trot in Preston, Luvdups boat parties in Chester, Screamadelica in London and as former long standing resident dj for Club Warehouse as well as co promoting successful Friday nights at the same venue. Other local events and clubs have included Wired & Hat club @ Buddha Lounge, Tech-Nique @ Mantra, Studio 33, Sunshine Daze @ Scala, Bora Bora uk & Terrace Sessions @ The House & Terrace and Rize @ both The loop and The hub in Croydon and more recently Dirty Disco in Hertford at both Dirties and the dog and whistle and The Egg in Kings Cross.
Dee has warmed up for or played after some of house music’s best known dj’s, Pete Tong, Victor Simonelli, David Comachio, Luvdup, Freemasons, Soul Avengerz, Brandon Block, Alex P, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Steve Proctor and Full Intention being notable examples.
Dee has also had shows on various radio stations, from seminal London pirates Laser FM and Shine FM through to various internet stations including PCR & YBR and can currently be found on Funky SX, a legal station broadcasting from Essex on 103.7 FM alternate Wednesday’s 9.00-11.00pm.

Hi my name is Lewis Coit, One half of The Lost Vinyl Session’s with Marcus Emptage on Friday night’s 9-11 UK Time on FMR Radio 
Here’s a little bit about me and my musical journey so far.

Coming from a musical background, my dad was a drummer in a punk band called the lazers and later becoming a Dj round the local pubs and clubs, I always wanted to be a Dj and I finally managed to start djing at the age of 12 playing happy hardcore on a pair of belt driven kams my dad bought me to keep me away from he’s 1210’s 😂 and a water soaked amp that looking back I have no idea how it stayed working or I didn’t get shocked 

As I got a little older I meet up with Marcus who showed me all things techno as soon as I heard I was hooked 

At the age of 18 I got a residency at my local nightclub colours where I played for 4/5 years 

As well as the odd gig here and there I have also had several radio shows on various local online radio channels and a few apperences on the top local pirate stations

I also have a love of house and garage music and have released several tracks under the alias CoiTy & RyKennon with my good friend Ryan Kenny, all available on YouTube as well as several remix’s including an official remix for the marvellous cain track Hitman sharing the same release with Scott Garcia even spending time at as top download on juno and beatports house and garage charts with “I Wanna” & “Lover”

And now I’m very proud and happy to join FMR RADIO team with Marcus as we start our new techno project THE LOST VINYL SESSIONS
