Samuel Rogers is an energetic, experimental singer-songwriter from Birmingham with a versatile catalogue of songs ranging from Rock & Roll, Funk & Soul, Folk, Psychedelic Rock and more.
In 2013, he formed The Samuel Rogers Band (know as The S.R.B) with friend of the family Chris Moulton on Bass and best friend Harry Griffiths on drums. The S.R.B released two lo-fi live EPs 'Turn It Up!!!' and 'It's On!!!', as well as Singles 'Somewhere With The Angels', 'Liven Up' and 'Find My Way'; gaining BBC airplay and many fans from around the UK. After various band member changes, The S.R.B disbanded in 2016.
Samuel has been gigging as a solo acoustic artist in and around the West Midlands for many years, as well as various parts of the UK and has supported the likes of Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene), The Spitfires, The Moons and Stone Foundation. He has also released solo demos and home recordings on his Youtube channel and Soundcloud page, and released double A Side Single including 'Screensaver' and 'Come Outside' in 2016, which he collaborated with former S.R.B bass-slapping right-hand man Chris Moulton and lifelong Beatboxing friend Rich FX.
In 2018, then Samuel went on to form experimental music project 'White Flag Dares' along with Chris and Rich, with the addition of Jack Mansell on Guitar. Their first EP 'We Dare Ya!' was produced by Samuel; gaining BBC airplay with their track 'In Our World', and have since released Singles 'Little Shorty' and 'Esse'.
2020 sees Samuel due to release solo material without a band behind him for the first time.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Prince Buster, John Holt and UB40, 1EYE have produced an infectious sound that immediately engages and excites their audience. 1EYE adopted a classic approach to writing Worries & Trouble that discusses the comical side of everyday life, political issues and bittersweet heartbreak. The album is set to be a modern classic that people can connect with on every level. 1EYE have a retro a sound that embraces rocksteady, reggae, dub and ska.
