DJing since 1994 in Bochum, Essen, Dortmund, Düsseldorf etc., Rimini, Ischgl, Gran Canaria, Brighton UK @Clubs and Events. Organised and played several House and Techno Undergroundevents. 
Left the scene about 2006 to focus on my main career and restartet at 2022. 
Started producing in 2023.

Marcus - aka HOUSEHERR - started DJing in the late-eighties, when he soon became resident in one of the countries hottest clubs - the Theaterkeller where international DJs and artists regularly came to play and perform. During that time he also did the city's first acid parties.

Since three decades he plays in numerous clubs as well as several events from Bol Beats Croatia to his own HOUSE HEAVEN Parties in Hamburg with Guests like Tracy Hamlin (live PA), John Khan (QUANTIZE), Groove Assasin and Victor Simonelli. Marcus is also the founder & resident of the famous EFFENDEE parties in Hamburg.

Producing
In 2018, he passionately began producing under the artist name HOUSHERR. In 2020, his first label release was signed to TRAKTORIA Records by Enrico BSJ Ferrari (Black Legend) and titled 'Keep The Faith,' featuring the beautiful voice of Hamburg’s FEE. In 2021, 'Til Sunrise' followed, released on Craniality Sounds. More catchy 4-to-the-floor tracks have dropped under the HOUSEHRR profile on Spotify.

The HOUSEHERR style shows many influences from Disco-Boogie & Phillysound to Classic & Acid House. Their music passes the boundaries of Deep-, Soulful-, Disco- to Tech-House.

As a child fortunately forced to acquaintance with various musical instruments followed choir experiences (sailor choir, later gospel choir) and then in the mid-90s the infection with electronic dance music.

Since then a lot has happened, equipment has come and gone, but the music virus has remained.

He can be classified somewhere between House/Techhouse/Minimal/Techno...
